My daughter had been asking me to buy her a mood ring for a while. She went through and picked this one out. It came quickly and was packaged just fine in a paper box with a foam insert.The ring changed colors nicely, but only on one side. The white side does not change, and neither do the pink circles inside. I knew this when I bought it so I wasn’t surprised but maybe someone else might not realize, so that’s important to note.The ring is a cheap quality and the coating was flaking off almost instantly after putting it on her finger. It also broke the first time she wore it, which is really disappointing because she was heartbroken. I thought about returning it for a other one, but after inspecting the ring and where it’s attached to the facing, the next one will just end up doing the same thing.Also, the ring changed colors that aren’t on the paper they send so you’ll have to look up a chart online to get an idea of what “mood” it’s reflecting.I don’t recommend this at all and can’t understand how it has such a high rating. I’m convinced many of these reviews are paid for.
