So I might be a bit dense. Or maybe I’ve just never used such quality tools. I kept trimming my hair and thought the scissors weren’t cutting because their was no sound or tensile feedback. When I looked into the sink, I saw plenty of cut hair. These were so sharp that I couldn’t hear or feel them cut. It was a little scary to be honest. Anyway, the thinning shears were fun to use. Gave myself a pretty good professional looking haircut in the mirror. I Was very happy. I Was 99% done and figured the front could be thinned out just a tad more and then it would be perfect. I Picked up the shears and made a big clip front and center. Heard an odd zip, kinda like the sound the straight scissors make. I Realized it was the straight scissors. Hair looks ridiculous. Almost wish they weren’t so sharp so they wouldn’t go through so much hair so easily. I’ll need some time to figure them out. They seem to work well though.I would recommend it.

These scissors are wonderful! I do have my yorkies professionally groomed, but I'm the 'in-between' groomings groomer. It's a challenge to keep their hair out of the eyes. They have hair like their 'mama'. We are all blessed with thick, fast growing hair. I, too, need to cut my hair in between hair appts. The scissors are SHARP and cut with razor precision. BE CAREFUL! The thinning sheers come in very handy. As I've said, I have very thick hair. It's so helpful to be able to thin it out without taking any length off. This takes the 'weight' off and makes it much easier to style - especially when the weather is humid. I also, use a shaping razor. Whereas, a shaping razor can be tricky, these thinning sheers make it much simpler to do a better job of managing a more even "cut". I don't have to worry so much about uneven patches of hair. If you have used a shaping razor, you understand what I mean. If you have not used one, but would like to thin your hair a little, use these thinning sheers - your margin for error will be less. I hope this helps! I love this set - and the price is incredible for such good quality. No need to spend a riduculous amount of money for occasional use.

Due to Covid, I really needed a trim and ordered this product. It finally arrived and I prepared my bathroom counter with all I needed for my cut. After much sectioning and wetting, I grabbed the scissors only to find they would not cut my hair at all. The gap in the scissors was too great. I attempted to maneuver a button on it and tried again and again, but I got no where. Sadly, I had to use house scissors to complete my cut bc I couldn't wait another week for a different product to arrive. Next time I will use a more well-known brand name where at least I know the product will work.

I was very excited when I got these, I cut my own hair for years and my old scissors got rusty, so I decide to give this a try, I read the review and I was more than sure I was making the right decision... but boy I wasn’t :( I should have try these in something else before my hair, it chopped my hair so weirdly and it make something I do in ten minutes a very complicated and long task. Just get yourself a good pair of scissors please.

These fit in my hands well but are to small for my husbands hands. They stayed sharp for about 70% of my hair cut before I had to use an alternative. I would give it 2 stars BUT I love the thinning scissors.

Both scissors are very poor quality. They’re not sharp and the thinning scissors don’t even close all the way. I ended up using my kitchen scissors. Sixteen bucks down the drain.

Scissors were sharp but did not feel sturdy. Thinning sheers were a little difficult to work with. They did look nice but had a cheap feel to them. Not to mention, shipping took two months!

The scissors are awesome! Can't believe they are only $10.95. Awesome price for two scissors. Absolutely worth the money! They are very sharp and very handy. If you just want to have your hair end to be fix a little bit. Use the thinning scissors and you can save $ 60 from haircut.
