I purchased this battery for an aging HP laptop. The battery has proven to be reliable and gives a good running time for the PC. Given the cost of the battery I consider it represents good value.

Battery purchased for my 8470p whose battery was down to about 45mins. Have been through one charge cycle and seems ok, but only seems to give a couple of hours at present. Snug fit which is handy as the holes for the battery clips aren't quite correctly aligned (about 1-1.5mm out on locking side), so the battery can't be locked in place and I don't want to modify the clips! Overall ok and at around a quarter of the HP replacement price, good value, despite the mildly annoying fit. Would buy original manufacturer unit next time.Also, as an aside, trying to return lithium batteries seems an issue wirh Amazon as you have to use external carriers and few (if any) will take lithium batteries as deemed hazardous goods.

My ageing 8460p had got to the stage where it refused to boot because the battery was dead (num lock and caps lock flashing).Replaced the original battery and the laptop once again works fine, didn't even need to let it charge for a few minutes beforehand. No idea about battery life as I only use the laptop on mains power but it has revived my trusty HP, and it now boots up without any issues again.

Bought this for a secondhand lap top I had purchased. No problems fitting it, working perfectly.

Getting about 4 hours use before charge.
