Just what we needed!
My wife (Angela) and I (Wayne) run a small business which includes service of process; (serving legal papers on an entity to begin a civil action in a court). So this is an excellent tool for the work that we do. I like to have extra evidence available to show that we did in fact effect process when and where we say that we did. So when serving process, there may come a time when we are called into court after serving legal papers on someone or a business entity to testify on how we actually served the legal papers on a party in a lawsuit. This ability to get real time video footage of the color of a door for instance or, a building or, an adjacent building or even a hallway or stairway that you walked through as you were trying to effect service of the papers is added evidence if and when we are ever called into court to testify on our serves. So I really like this little body cam.Now let me tell you about my experience with setting up the Date and Time Stamping and the 720p and 1080p. First, the instructions that come with the cam say distinctly that the default video resolution is 720p. You can find that under Step 4 entitled, "Date and time stamping," where it reads, This camera default 720p resolution, loop recording and time watermark, if you want to change them, please follow steps: ... ."So I naturally thought that I had to change these settings in order to have the camera operate in 1080p.And I spent the next several hours changing the TXT file to settings and putting in the code (1,1,1). The reason I spent hours doing this is because I thought that when you change the file or create a new one, that it was supposed to stay in the SD card folder. But each time I saved and closed the SD card and took the camera off of the computer to run the camera for a test shot. When I put the SD card back to the computer and opened the drive there was no "settings" file. I thought I must have done something wrong. So I repeated this several times. (I really mean several times. Like --a whole bunch of times.) And I even searched online for a solution to making a TXT file stay in a folder after it's created in a folder on a thumb drive. I spent hours searching like this and visited several online forums. And for each solution that I thought I found, I would then plug the camera back into my computer and try again. Test after test and the file would never be saved in the folder after I removed the camera and put it back on the computer. It wasn't until after spending several hours trying to figure out why the "settings" TXT file that I created on the SD card to change the video resolution kept disappearing that I finally just emailed Ehomful. Which is EXACTLY what the instructions suggest that you do. But I thought that I could figure this out since I was doing everything the instructions said do I didn’t think it was their problem, I thought it was mine. Well, the ANSWER to my frustration was in the email that they sent to me. Here's what Ehomful wrote:Hi Wayne,We are sorry for the confused that caused to you. Here I would like to send you a guide video for setting according your requirement.Put the formatted sd card into the camera to your computer, you will find there is a" settime.txt". Then creat a txt file named"settings"settings.txt is for 720p/1080p switching, loop recording ON/OFF, and time stamping ON/OFFThe first "1" is for 720p/1080p switching. When you set "0",it is 720p. When you set "1", it is 1080p.The second "1" is for loop recording ON/OFF. When you set "0", the loop recording is OFF.When you set "1", the loop recording is ON.The third "1" is for time stamping ON/OFF. When you set "0", the time stamping is OFF.When you set "1", the time stamping is ON.For example, if you want 1080P without loop recording and time stamping off. The correct settings is "1,0,0".After created one settings.txt and saved it in the same place as the settime.txt file, removed the camera from the PC and turned it on and recorded something. Then attached the camera to the PC again the settings.txt file will be missing, and the “settime” is reset to default “settime” settings. BUT the video has the correct date/time stamp. Please have a try and see if they are helpful for you to figure it out right. Should there is any problem, please let me know.Thank you.JessicaSo what was the ANSWER? It was in the sentence before the last paragraph which said, "Then attached the camera to the PC again the settings.txt file will be missing ... ." That's it! (“The settings.txt file will be missing”). If that would have been included in the instructions sent with the cam then I would not have lost as much sleep trying to figure it out. Despite that mishap though they still get FIVE STARS! I have put this thing through some lengthy test this past week and it is a very good body-cam. Aside from not having image stabilization built in, it works really well when standing still with maybe slight movement or slow walking. I figure, if your reason for getting this body-cam is to capture public video for say evidence or to protect yourself against false accusations. Or to capture family events or your kids doing the darnedest things, then this is a kool product. 😃One last thing that I found on Ehomful's website after all of this was the following text:"Note: The default setting of the body camera is 1080P with loop recording on and time stamping on. If this is the right configuration you want, There is no need to create.Txt format File for configuring again."How's that for a joy ride? But it was all worth it because now I have a real personal connection with this thing that just makes me like it more. :-) In sum total, get one. You won't be disappointed!!

Bad dedign and manufactury of buttons.s.
The problem with this cammera are the buttons. They are fragil and small. Especially fragil is the top button that you press to start and stop the recording. This button will collapse with the gentlest pressure. I am not talking after pressing and using for some time, but it will break after testing with a few presses. Not pressing hard or for a long time. The problem does not have to do on how do you press, it is the way it is made. After the buttom collapsed, I opened the unit. When looking at what possibly could have happened a lot of very small plastic pieces fell out... it was the cheapest way I ever seen electronics component put together... I have seen cheap settings, but when I saw this one, the other ones look like high quality. I could not believe what I saw... I was dissapointed, especially because other parts look ok and well put and even solid... when I press with a small screw driver, the unit seems to work, but without the button snaooung back, it just can't be used. By the way; I never had the opportunity to use the cammera.... after charging, I briefly test and next time when I wanted to use, I observed that the button was depressed and could not be used. I do not post reviews on a regular bases, because some times I do not consider particular problems systemic, and exeptions are not fair for the business in particular, but I made an effort on this one. I do not believe this was an exeption. The way thoe parts look are clearly defects and cheap design and manufactury....You come up with your own conclussions

questionable reliability - update
**update - moving from the 2 star original rating due to my experience with glitches to 4 star because of the customer service. They have been very responsive and have had several back and forth conversations with them, trying things and ultimately working with me for replacements. While I was initially disappointed with the saving glitch, I am happy with the friendly customer service and them going to lengths to make things right.__________________________The video captures and ease of use of this camera are nice. I like that there is a simple light indicator as to whether or not it is recording. Simple one button operations, the light blinks and then turns off while recording (nice since my needs are to have this not be obvious). Unfortunately in my experience, the device is unreliable. The first few captures worked ok, but then around the 3rd time I used it, all of the videos started to corrupt. I could see the capture on the file, but they would all be corrupted. The company reps were kind and quick to respond to a direct inquiry, but mostly the advice was to try reformatting the SD card. That helped initially, but then it starts corrupting again. Then customer service recommended I just try a different SD card. Today I had another recording, and after 5 minutes it saves and starts new recordings. 3 were captured. recording 1 and 3 worked just fine, but for some reason the 2nd was corrupted. Unfortunately the video I needed was in the 2nd file. I really want to like this product because of the ease of use, but I don't think I can rely on it for capturing important information. Also, I don't want to have to reformat after every use and hope that my luck aligns with the video capture I need being uncorrupted.

5 Minutes take up ONE Gigabyte! No way!
The video quality is good. However, in this time anyone is interested in sending videos using a cellular phone. IMPOSSIBLE to save it to your PC or Cloud and them send it to a phone. Every 5 minutes of video takes ONE Gigabyte!!!!! No way! One hour of a good video in MP4 takes a few MBs. I know there are converters, but it is too much time to be worthy. I do not recommend it, if you want to store your videos or send them by email or WhatsApp.
