Draw-Tite 24954 Class 1 Trailer Hitch, 1-1/4 Inch Square Receiver, Compatible with Honda Civic (Please Verify Vehicle Application)

The hitch was very easy to install on my 2018 Civic, after buying the missing mounting hardware. I'm assuming the bolts were lost in shipping, although I didn't see any indication that Draw-Tite had taped them to the hitch. The direction pictures were only minimally helpful. Illustration 6 shows that a cut must be made to the inside metal bumper, but illustrations 7 & 8 don't show it. There's even an enlarged detail photo of the cutout, but it's worthless. There is also a mounting tab that must be bent out of the way prior to step 7.Overall easy to install.

Took about 2..5 hours, bumper parts did not want fit back easily. Quality of product good, BUT a metal bump in side the tube would not allow any insert to enter far into the hitch to install the locking pin. A factory quality check would have found the bump, about 1/2 inch in size. I had to cold chisel the bump off and file it smooth to actually use the hitch.

Just received the item, and first thing I noticed was the tow hitch is significantly bent on one side.It’s surprising how this could have even happened.I would think if the towing capacity up to 2000lbs the product must be extremely strong.Guys, what do I do? HELP!!!😭

Put in the time and the proper form with pin removal and things will move along.

Ease of installation. No drilling or cutting into the metal of body. Only trimming of the bumper bar and cover. Good instructions! Took about 2 hours total time to install

Yoo have to remove your bumper cover, very easy to do. Little bit of trimming the bumper cover however it is not visible once installed. Well made and designed for any easy install.
