Meukow VS 1l VS Cognac

I first bought this generic cognac many years ago -- not for its quality but because of my own name --"Panther" -- but at a disintegrating 80 years of age, I have to confess to an adult lifetime liking of a good cognac.all other spiriits that i have drunk and do drink all sit at basement level in terms of my addiction to cogac and to brandy. I would rathert drink a basic brandy than any other better spirit.But Meukow has never been in the top level marketed cognacs. However, it has settled into my palate and perception and it has well known tones to which my old mind recollects.I have always bought VSOP but I bought 2 of these VS 1 litre, bottles as a gift to my two sons ( both now round about 50 yrs old) who sadly will pour this VS Cognac over their Chritmas pud.So I opened one with my coffee tonight and the Meukow flavours were there --and the pleasure was there -- so to e fair to both my sons I will keep both bottles at home for me -- hopefully to see me through 2018.I may put some cheaper btandy into the bottles -- cos the bottles are brill for us "Panther's"I am wanting to buy a silver panther headed bottle stopper -- if any one know where!
