I was surprised at the quality of the construction of this leather punch. The mechanism creates a tremendous mechanical advantage and the quality of the metal punches made quick work of the large project we were working on. The punch wheel with the various diameter punches rotates easily and then clicks securely in to place insuring a precise hole. The metal punches are sharp and have remained so after hundreds of cuts. The handle of the punch is also extremely comfortable with a grip size that fit well in to our average sized adult hands. Great price and tremendous quality...not what I usually expect from a product manufactured from overseas.

I absolutely live this punch. Only 2 things i wish were better. 1: its heavy as all get up and is hard for me to hold sometimes with my tendonitis 2: the mechanism that switches the punch size it hard to rotate. It would be nice to make that easier BUT the puncture through genuine leather is super easy. I have lost a lot of weight and this allows me to keep my favorite belts. I remember trying to drill or pry through my leather belts prior to this. It was sloppy looking and extremely hard. Not with this tool. It definitely makes the puncture process a ease. So easy its fun.

In order to adjust the size hole you punch, you need to turn the wheel with the spokes sticking out. Well, this was super hard to turn, and every time it clicked into place, I was afraid it was going to pinch my finger. It didn't, but this was really hard to adjust. You have to keep turning because it clicks into place for each spoke. I'm sure a guy with strong hands wouldn't have any problem. But if you're not super strong, it will be hard to adjust. After that, punching the hole is easy. I just wish they had made it easier to adjust the size of the hole.

The long nosed pliers have a fairly fat and blunt tip so they weren't what I was looking for and returned them. If they have been as pointy as I wanted I would still have returned them because only the very tip of the pliers touched, there was a gap between most of the surfaces that should be touching one another.

I actually just wanted a pair of dikes (diagonal cutting pliers) to trim my toenails. But it ended up being cheaper to buy this whole set than just one pair of dikes. They work. I'd take a photo of my toes to show you all, but I'm sure you don't need to see that. The zippered case is a nice touch.

These miniture tools works for my hobby use. It came in a leather case with a small issue. The case has a small cut or tear at the edge. I recommend a throughly inspection on the case.

Fit and finish is lacking, all of them are so stiff, the auto-opening springs are not strong enough to open them (even after lubing, and much working to loosen them up). dikes/wire cutters don't cut very well. ALL have gaps in the mating surfaces. The case is of decent quality, but pliers are a pain to get out.

I had purchased a belt out of town without trying it on. When I got home it did not fit.. Needed one more hole punched in it. I looked online and found this tool. WORKS GREAT... Now I can get up without worrying if my pants will fall off... Thanks
