Dead on Arrival - don't waste your time on this antenna
Was unable to get the amplifier to display a green or red light per the installation sheet.I tried 3 different USB Charging ports, TV, Iphone Charger and my USB wall outlet charger not lights at all.Went ahead and hooked it to the TV to see if it worked at all .... only got a local stations that is 5 miles away, the same results as my "rabbit ears" .... returned and will not buy again ....

excellent sound at a low price
The amp arrived quickly; ordered 11/6/14, arrived 11/10/14. The very basic manual/info sheet, is in Chinese, luckily the controls and connections are fairly straight forward, and labeled in English on the amp.Bought this amp for a bedroom TV, where we did not have room or need for a full surround sound system. I chose this amp because of the subwoofer output. I had an old Panasonic passive subwoofer, that I am now using with the amp. For the left & right stereo speakers I am using a pair of Monoprice Satellite Speakers (110800). The 40" RCA led TV we have in the bedroom does not have an audio out, so I am planning on using an AV (A/B) switch to toggle between the audio out of the Directv DVR, and the audio out of the Sony blue ray player. The system sounds excellent, and can easily generate more volume than we, or our next door neighbors need. The amp has a separate subwoofer volume control, which is good because the subwoofer was vibrating the window. The amp does not have a remote so it took a little longer to get the levels where I liked them. The lack of a remote is a pain, but I can do without it for the size and price of this amp. The only amps that had both a subwoofer output and a remote, that I could find, were full on receivers, which take up too much space, and cost more than I want to spend for a bedroom TV system. The amplifier's red power light, and the blinking blue light (for the subwoofer?) are distracting, especially in a dark room. I plan on covering the lights with a piece of tape.Time will tell, but so far I am satisfied.

Better value than I could have imagined.
This amp is much better than I expected. I read many reviews about the x-over not working but this problem has been fixed as of Sept '15. The amp I received is exactly like the one pictured- black anod alum with white lettering- with the exception that is says "Lepy", not Lepai. The sub volume is independent of the master volume but I use this with bluetooth so volume is set on the amp and then adjusted from my devices. There is a lot of adjustability to get a great sound from essentially any setup. The time spent fine-tuning returns seriously amazing sound. I have a passive sub I can only desbribe as 'angsty', it is poorly tuned and is either very loud or quiet, never balanced. I am replacing this soon but have already been able to make it sound surprisingly good through fine adjustments. The treble and bass controls work well. The bass adjustment affects all speakers so it is best to adjust this first with your subs down all the way. Once this is set, pull in some sub volume with the very sensitive knob and then adjust your x-over. The range on this amp is remarkable. The 12v/3A included power supply has provided plenty enough power for some thuggin bass but a 5A supply would drive heavier subs better. I'm in a small room and have had no problem at all with volume or quality on the 3A supply.I am so impressed with this amp and highly recommend it for the average user and even for the audiophile if you have the know-how to optimize the capabilitiesLEPY Lp-168HA 2.1 2 X 40 - Watt Amplifier and 1x68w Sub Output with US Power Adapter

Basic amp for basic purposes
This isn't doing any heavy work. It's powering a pair of Dayton Audio B652 6.5" Bookshelf Speakers in my gym. I just wanted something to replace the terrible TV speakers. I run a Roku into my Viera plasma, then run optical out to Digital Toslink to Analog Converter, which feeds into this LEPY amp. See attached picture for a better idea. The amp does have an inline power adapter in the power cord, similar to a laptop. It also uses cheap spring connections for your speaker wire - not my favorite, but this is a cheap amp. It works. There are ears on both sides for mounting to a surface. The amp drives the speakers plenty loud for my basement gym. It has a bright power light, so it's not idea for dark rooms. The pots/knobs are okay. I really wish there was a remote or something for them, but again...it's a cheap amp. I can walk my butt across the gym to adjust volume at this price point.

Amazing
Wow. I am amazed at the power and clarity of this amp. I thought it would be alright, and hopefully better than the cheaper yet more popular $20 Lepai amp. I am using this amp for suitcase boom boxes, and it has preformed wayyyyy better than it possibly should. Just as a test, I hooked it up to the system in my room, which is two 6 and a halfs and an 8 inch sub, and it can easily power it. This is amazing because the amp that came with the system is massive compared to this little amp. It looks nice, is quite small for its amazing power, and the subwoofer output is useful too, as is the usb 5v charger. My only complaint is that the sub volume dial is way too over powered, it only sounds good if you turn only barely to the right, so the sub light barely comes on. Other than that, amazing amp, and its definitely worth the extra $12

Not the best but not the worst either
I bought this primarily because of the ATT Uverse/Nexstar dispute, thinking I would need it to get my local news. I have not been impressed with the amount of fade and freezing that occurs when I use it. The night I set it up I was only able to receive one local channel and a handful of off the wall channels. I moved the antenna up higher in the room and improved the number of channels I got but not the quality. This Antenna gets three stars only because I can still watch my favorite local news while it's being blocked by ATT Uverse but I will have to find a better solution before the fall season starts.
