These brushes have a Tufcor proprietary core wire that is corrosive resistant, has a tighter twist for better bristle retention, and can be used with all firearm cleaning chemicals. Otis premium bore brushes also have twice the fill as other brushes, the stem is cold welded to the core, and the brushes are filled to the end. Each brush has the specific caliber or gauge stamped on the stem so you will never clean your gun with the wrong brush. This brush is 2" in length with an 8/32 thread.

Someone needs to learn how to read a tape measure...
I ordered these because I was under the impression that the length described with the item was 2" FOR THE BRUSH. Not for the whole piece. I like long brushes because that is typically what is used for rifle bores and if you use them in pistol bore they last a lot longer plus you don't need to use them as long to clean the bore. These were NOT 2" long brushes. They were 2" long total length. Other than that they are great and the bulk price makes them more affordable, plus the separate plastic cases was a new twist on storage. Next time I want the BRUSH to be 2".

Excellent way to save money and stock up. The individual plastic containers are great fro organizing so the brushes don't snag on everything. Each brush is labeled which is a plus when you have a variety of calibers floating around. Cant go wrong with Otis products.
