Best mouse pad I've ever had.
I originally bought one of these years ago. It's still great in fantastic condition from all the way when I got it before at least 5 years I think. I just bought a second one as a back up since the price was really good ($20) and it's the best mouse pad I've ever had. It's really nice if you have enough space on your desk since it's larger than most standard mouse pads. The bottom grip is great, I've never had it slip once. I like the fact that it's a hard metal surface instead of a fabric one, there is a lot less friction and assuming your mouse had good bottom pads and there is no dust or anything between the mouse and the pad then the mouse just glides across. The only thing I really had to get used to is that because it's metal it gets cold when you're not using it. When you start using it for the day there is that initial cold to the touch feeling but it goes away in a minute or so. I do a lot of gaming and work on my PC so I'm on probably at least 4 hours a day and it's still in great condition. It's smooth metal so you can just used water and wipe it down and won't have to wait for it to dry like washing a fabric mouse pad. With so many years of pretty constant use it's only gained 1 tiny chip/scratch where the black surface came off and you can see the aluminum underneath. The chip is only cosmetic too, can't feel it at all and doesn't affect the mouse's movement or response. 10/10 for sure.

Favorite Mousepad! (League of Legends/FPS)
INTRO:A little about myself before. I play FPS games, SC2, Diablo 3 but mainly League of Legends the majority of the time so I need speed, accuracy and precision when playing those types of games.Started off with the Goliath and used that for 3 yrs, then moved on to Scarab for 2 yrs and wanted a change so now onto this and it is by far my favorite mousepad to date. At this time it has been a month with this mousepad meaning about 100+ hrs of gaming (trying to grind through ranked in LoL)PACKAGING:The box is a little heftier, with a pretty sturdy and secure carrying case about the size of a 17 in laptop. It's a nice case that will definitely protect the mousepad during travel but it's a bit large for my taste because the Scarab came in a very skinny cloth-ish type case but honestly I've never used the carrying case since I never transport my mousepad, never needed to.SIZE/FEATURES:Size wise it's perfect, not too big and not too small. Literally the same size as my old Scarab. The grip of the bottom of the mousepad has definitely improved and it shouldn't move unless you apply abnormal mouse movements. The top texture is very smooth and cold to the touch. The mousepad is very thin leaving a slimmer profile, it's almost as if it's the same level of the desk, I don't notice the elevation change but it def helps with the wrist strain/pressure that you may get from taller mousepads. The mousepad doesn't bend and seems very durable, haven't had any issues and no scratching so far.PERFORMANCE:The mousepad is amazing for all games because it allows me to slide across the pad with ease and very quickly/smoothly. It's perfect for all game types honestly, especially for League and SC2. The glide is smoother than textured mats, it slides across effortlessly without the friction you get from the textured mats. They say textured mats help with accuracy and precision because of the way it reflects of the surface, I really couldn't tell the difference between the two mats on that, they're just both great. The mat just seemed to provide better movement speed and the precision and IMO accuracy can be adjusted with your mouses DPI settings.CONCLUSION:Just a couple things to point out, you should probably keep your mouse feet clean and wipe the mousepad off once in awhile, it'll help with performance and durability of both your pad and mouse. If you have sweaty palms you'll definitely see it, just keep a microfiber towel around or something. This problem happens with all pads but it shows more on the matte finish. Overall probably my favorite mousepad; great ergonomics, features, performance and looks amazing with my setup.Would recommend this to everyone and if it's a price thing or you just don't like the idea of the Manticor, I'd probably go with the Destructor 2, which took the place of the Scarab, since it's the same exact thing except plastic and textured so it will give you a bit more control. If you have any questions, feel free to ask, hope this review helped!

Item offered here is NOT / NO LONGER the Razer Manticor, just some piece of wooden junk.
UPDATE: The product being displayed here for sale is NOT / NO LONGER the Razer Manticor that I and others reviewed here prior. Now it's a listing for some piece of cheap painted wood.ORIGINAL REVIEW: High-quality aluminum mats are the slickest, they glide like no other pad/mat every made. The only two (high-quality) aluminum mats ever made were this one and the Steelseries SX. BOTH are long out of production. You won't find a NIB Steelseries SX anywhere on Earth; personally I liked it more than the Manticor … but again, they are techno-history now.So here you are. This is the last of the new old stock for these Manticors. So grab one while you still can.Ok, it (and the SX) at $50, that's pretty pricey. Especially when you see $15 no-name aluminum mats all over Amazon. But if you read the reviews for all those no-names, you will see a lot of complaints – they don't last long, the finish is paint instead of anodized, they are rough-ridin' and so on. That's was never true about the SX or the Manticor. My SX only gave up the slick, taking on some chips and with a serious loss of finish, after about 14 years. And I have one Manticor that is six years old; it's taken one barely visible 3mm water stain and still rides 110% slick. So, on a cost-per-year basis, you come out sweet on the Manticor. So again, if you want the quickest, slickest ride for your mouse, better get one of (the last of) these while you can.Disclaimer: To get all the slick & quick I can, I also put strips of CS Hyde Teflon Mouse Tape (click here) over my mice feet … and I also spritz & wipe the Manticor with a bit of DuPont Silicone Teflon Lubricant Aerosol Spray (click here) .

Best Laptop Cool Pad!
I loved it when I was using it for my mouse pad.It did not wore out like Steelseries one, and my mouse glided like a figure skater.Until... my girlfriend snatched it and uses it for her laptop cool pad.It fits perfectly on 15" notebooks and it provides good air vent when you are using your laptops on the bed. Also the rubberized surface holds your laptop very good so it won't slip.Amazing mouse pad! Fantastic laptop cool pad if you are using it on your bed!

Definitely a control not glide type of pad
Very Nice, and sturdy! its a little more resistive than id have liked, as generally i prefer a little more glide but that could change after a bit of usage. Big fan of the full black approach, its not to showy and fits my desk color perfectly

It's a big, aluminum mousepad. It's slick enough but not too, thin enough not to be annoying. It came with an aluminum carrying case that'll keep it safe when taking it with me. Only downside would be that since it's so smooth (my last pad was more textured) dust and cat hair makes itself felt very quickly...In short it's pretty much perfect.
