I was generally a little concerned when they pulled out the initial patterns. It looks so hard and so much more confusing than it actually was. The colors of the beads are very vibrant and there are enough supplies to make all the animals in the kit. My nine year old and I had so much fun with this! The beads are very durable and the animals. It makes are so cute! It is very easy to use and fun even for a very small children. This was very age appropriate.

Kept young kids busy and quiet for hours!We had our extended family over for Mother's Day which included six young kids.Very rainy day, needed something to entertain the kids. This kit kept the kids busy for a very long time! Even the young boys made bead animals to give to their mama for Mother's Day!The instructions were printed in black and white on one 8.5x11 sheet of paper. Each animal instruction was a black and white image with numbers to indicate which color bead to use.The instructions were written in steps which require the ability to read. The directions did not show step by step details, it was a little confusing. But one of the mothers had experience and showed the kids how to place the ends of the rope in each side of the bead. This step was very confusing, an image or diagram should be included.But after the demonstration, the kids were busy creating critters for hours!

My 7 year old daughter and I had fun making these on a snowy day home from school. I used to make them when I was younger without the kit and instructions. These turned out better. She loves them & clipped them to her bookbag to share with friends. Only recommendation would be to add more instructions on how to properly tie ends of string to keep it secure.

Gifted this to niece for Christmas, she loves to craft. She was very excited to receive. Quality looks to be good for the price and amount of product received.

Oh, honey, this Made by Me Ultimate Bead Pet kit is an absolute gem! My little ones have been having a blast creating the cutest critters you ever did see. The beads are bright and colorful, and the instructions are so easy, even I can follow them (and I’m no crafting queen, let me tell you!). It’s the perfect way to keep those busy hands occupied, and the end results are just darling. If you’ve got a creative kiddo in your life, this kit is a must-have—it’s a whole lot of fun in one little box, y’all!

Loved the fact that this product was able to bring me back to my childhood! However things were better in the 90’s! The instructions in this kit were hard for an adult to figure out. I am worried that the kids I got this for during my daughter’s baby shower in the next 2 weeks won’t be able to figure out the patterns without the help of their parents. I had to look up YOUTUBE videos to be able to get the lizard done. The video shows it made slightly different than this kit shows you. The instructions were not clear at all on how the make the legs or ears of certain animals. Secondly I am a very organized person and if you are OCD about organizing your crafts this is not the kit for you! So many beads and nowhere to store them but plastic bags. The two boxes they give you for storage is only enough room for you to work on your projects with. So now I have multiple color beads in the same squares and have to dig for the color I need. Where other colors are stored in a separate plastic bag. My kit back in the 90’s had a blue suite case that came with that kit and was able to keep everything nice and organized. I am also not a big fan of the metallic pink and metallic purple colors. If you don’t have the greatest lighting they almost look like they are the same color. Had to bring them into the dinningroom table with natural sunlight to realize they weren’t the same color. I also found multiple broken beads in my kit between last night and this morning. On the other hand the amount of items in this kit and how many pets you can make is definitely worth the cash if anything I mentioned about doesn’t bother you.

My 8 year old loved making these. After showing her how to do the first few rows, she was doing it independently. It would make for a great birthday gift.
