This product idea sounded great in theory. I received this item today and within 10 minutes of my opening it, unsticking it from a plastic divider in the packaging, noticed that one of the sticky pads and torn clean in half, barely hanging on by a thread on both sides. It's still technically useable, since it will stick, so I tried applying it to my tablet, which seemed to work well. It helped to take so of the weight off my palms since I had something more to grip instead of just the flat tablet. I also put these on my New 3DS XL and they stayed OK. I did feel like they wanted to slip a little bit. I found out further information for GameTech's own site about this product. *It is reuseable*. You can stick and unstick it over and over and it's meant to stay sticky. If it loses the stick, you run it under water to rinse it of the grease and dirt, let it dry, and it will be seemingly as sticky as it was brand new. The idea of this is great. I'm not sure if the one I received was just sub-par quality and a defect, or if they are all like this. Due to the fact that I haven't even had mine for an hour and it ripped, I'm giving this one star. DON'T buy this if you're expecting good quality. It's cute, it's a great idea, but it's executed poorly. I would not recommend this.`

The first 3-4 times it stuck fine. Then I stopped using the 3ds for a couple of months playing games on other consoles. When I tried to use it again, it would lose grip while in use. I tried cleaning it but that didn't help.
