Bamboo Planter for Succulents: Mini Wooden Bamboo Rectangular Planter (3x6 Inches)

It's so tiny, I could barely fit my ONE succulent in it. I'm giving it 3 stars because it's pretty. Also, I did not get any potting mix, just a few sad rocks.

Too small to be very useful. I saw the measurements, of course, but what you don't realize is that some of the potting space is taken up by an additional layer of bamboo. The small succulents I have will not fit in the 3x6 size and especially not two of them. Succulent root systems aren't very deep but once you get the rocks in and a pitiful amount of soil there just isn't enough room to get the plant in properly. I also ordered two kits but only got 2 pods of soil. There is no way just two pods is enough to fill even one of these, let alone two. I'll probably toss the rocks and soil and just end up using these on my desk to hold paperclips or something.

I just received the 3 x 6 planter as a gift from one of my vendors. I don’t know the first thing about succulents or small cacti, but the planter was so cool looking I had to do this! Went to Home Depot and spent about $8 on some interesting small plants and within 5 minutes I had my little planter gracing my desk. Nothing to it, because everything but the plants are included. I looked at the price and was pretty surprised—something similar at Home Depot but not as nice was $12 more.I’m going to order at least two more—one for the office and one for the guest bathroom to break up the vanity surface. They don’t take any work or maintenance and they sure make my messy office look a little better.
