Victorious, A Spicy Age-Gap Romance (Quantum Series Book 3)

So, I read, no, wait, I listened to books 1-3 of the Quantum series by Marie Force. Oh, wait, I kind of skimmed through the audio verse of Valorous, because it was too predictable. Overall, audiobooks 1-3 were awesome. I have read a few BDSM books, and most seem to model the Fifty Shades of Grey formula, which makes them uninteresting. However, Marie Force has created her own unique series that's not riding on the coattails of Shades.I love the characters, and the dialogue between them was amazing. There were moments in books 1 and 3 when I wanted to cry. I wonder if the narrators had something to do with how entranced I was by this story, because I felt the narration was outstanding. There was a male and female narrator, but I was so engrossed in the story that I rarely noticed when the voices changed. I always say that good narrators can make a book better, but in this case, I think the story gave the narrators opportunity to show the listeners the genius of Force's writing.I have read some of the books in her Gansett Island series, and the ones I have read so far don't come close to the emotions, the love, and the trust that is displayed in these books. I don't know if the remaining books in the Quantum series are equally as good as the first three, but Force has intrigued me enough to read them.

MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS - I really loved the resolution to Natalie & Flynn's separation! Natalie doesn't hold a grudge, she is actually intrigued & turned on by the thought of participating in Flynn's dark dominant world, but she's saddened that he lied. I have to give Natalie a lot of credit here - Flynn leads her into this dominant/submissive relationship & he tries some pretty kinky stuff, things that might not be widely accepted by most women. And we're talking about Natalie who has such a terrifying past that he could step on all kinds of bad triggers for her. I ended up loving these two & their exploration of his kinky world. They found out that they were still perfectly suited for each other & very compatible in the bedroom. This book especially was super hot as we witness Natalie opening up her body & mind to this new side of Flynn! Big spoiler here, Flynn is a major butt man! It seemed like all of his fantasies revolved around that particular area & it was a big risk since you really have to go there a few times to see if you like it. I said that I was on the fence about Hayden even though he ended up being right, Flynn should never have hid his dominant side to someone he professes to want a future with. Now I cannot wait to read Hayden's story in the fourth book! He is incredibly stubborn - he adores a girl but won't pursue her because he feels she would be disgusted by his play room & he can't stand to lose her friendship.

Flynn and Natalie finally get their happily ever after but it's not been without it's ups and downs. Hidden truths are forced into the open but not without some some dramatic and heartwrenching moments for both Natalie and Flynn. Once he finally reveals his real self to Natalie, Flynn experiences a freedom he's never really felt before. Natalie's acceptance and eagerness to explore Flynn's lifestyle utterly enthralls Flynn. Their journey together is sensual, lusty, and deeply emotional as well as satisfying. The spectre of suspicion for Flynn is finally resolved with shocking results. Now they can truly get on with their live and their lives.

While I found the descriptions of the BDSM products interesting I don't think I expected such intricate detail. I'm no prude but wow. It does however make sense for this story to be so detailed though as Natalie has only ever had one extremely horrifying experience with sex before Flynn. You understand his hesitancy in letting her know his deepest darkest secrets, after all his first wife left him because of them. But Natalie trusts Flynn and although she still has flashbacks to a violent assault at the hands of a trusted family friend she is willing to try anything once... twice if she likes it.

Too much BDSM for my taste. Gave 3 stars because I loved the story and books 1 & 2 were 5 stars worthy but while I enjoyed the fairytale love story of Flynn & Natalie, I was turned off by all the pain during sex and the acts themselves. But I was able to look pass the BDSM as the plot continued to captivate me.However I as much as I liked the minor characters especially Addie and also Hayden who sounds as hott and alpha as Flynn, maybe even more so, I can't say I would read their story as he is even more serious about that lifestyle than Flynn.The epilogue was too short. So much more could have been included there. Something more about Natalie's parents is one, the movie on Natalie's story, what happened to the ex wife Valarie and it would have come full circle if Flynn and Natalie had started a family.

Flynn loves Natalie and very quickly marries her in Los Vegas as he cannot see himself living without her. But soon after she walks away from him when he lies and denies that he is a dominant and has a playroom in his basement. His ex-wife had made it her spiteful business to inform Natalie about Flynn BDSM lifestyle. However, just a few days apart is enough to make both Natalie and Flynn realise how much they love and need each other.Meanwhile, Flynn is investigated by the FBI for killing the lawyer who broke Natalie's tragic story but their claim turns out to be false. But who did kill him?Natalie communicates successfully with her two estranged sisters, accepts Flynn's dominant lifestyle and they have a second wedding attend by close family and friends. A spectacular honeymoon follows and then they wait to see if Flynn will receive the ultimate film accolade for his latest film.

The final part of this trilogy is fantastic. As from the very beginning, I was pulled into the story, and determined to read it to its conclusion, and this part is probably the most intense and hottest of the three books. Yet, it doesn't distract from the overall story and the writing is spot on.Plus, It always amazes me how this author can write various stories, from different series in such a short period of time. As you would never know it or be left feeling short-changed. And I truly hope that in time the other guys at Quantum will get their own stories, and if they do, I will certainly be buying and devouring them all!Furthermore, I would genuinely recommend this trilogy to everyone. But particularly those who are fans of Marie Force's other works, but have maybe passed on this trilogy for one reason or another. As it may cover different themes, but it delivers everything you would usually expect from a Ms. Force novel, and you won't be left disappointed, a little hot maybe, but not disappointed.

Sadly I have come to the end of M S Forces Quantam Trilogy. I have to say that I Loved it! I cannot wait to hear about some of the other characters,as a lot has been left open for this to be able to happen and I am happy about that. This 18+ book is Marie's first foray in this genre but I had no doubt in my mind that she could do this and she has totally rocked it! Each book is exceptionally written so that we get so involved in the characters and storyline. I was excited to get my hands on each book and read them rather quickly,in a month or so I will read them again as I do with all Marie's books. Well done Marie,you deserve all the great praise you are getting for this series.

Congratulations Marie Force on delivering an excellent series. It was totally different from what we expect from you. A little bit more risqué. But amazing nonetheless. You certainly know how to tell a story.Natalie and Flynn continue their journey together, learning from each other. Growing together.Can we expect a Hayden and Addie story, fingers crossed. With three other series on the go Marie is one busy lady.

Loved the series but found the club thing too far fetched Natalie would not want to be on show and whatever happened between her and Flynn should have stayed between them spoiled it for me won't read the rest of the series now shame
