Sturdy structure/great traction. Love the quick fastening laces. My feet feel well supported in these shoes. I wish the lugs and shoe lasted longer but I’m HARD on shoes running elevation which means lots of downhills. I’ve tried many shoes and the better ones average me the same lifespan. When I no longer use for trail running, I use for everyday. The fit definitely supports my feet. I can’t go barefoot or where cheap shoes or my feet breakdown and body aches start. I’ve never worn Wide fit shoes but last order sent was a WIDE size. If you suffer from blisters on toes running steep downhills the extra toe box room solves. Just ran back to back 16+mi 4000+ elev gain mntn trails. Amazed at how good my feet feel. Just bought 2nd WIDE pair to rotate on downhills.

I have been training for my first 35k and needed new trail shoes only 3 weeks out from race day. I tripped an abnormal amount in my Altras and feared going into race day with this known issue. I ordered these with only one long run left in my training plan before a taper and the big day, strapped them on, and hoped for the best. I took them for a 10-mile cruise on their first wear, and they felt fantastic. They fit true to size, with zero tripping, and the lace mechanism places even pressure on the top of the foot with no chance of coming loose.On race day, my feet felt great. I finished my 22-mile run without any rubs, tripping, or soreness. Even though I was anxious about using something so essential and relatively new on race day, I have absolutely no regrets in hindsight. Highly recommend!

These hiking sneakers feel really good on my feet with great arch support. You can wear thicker socks with these shoes without them feeling tight.

I absolutely love these shoes! I bought them purley based on the sherbert color...lol! I definitely don't hike and barely walk around...lol. These are so comfortable! I might buy another pair! As far as size goes...I went with the comments and ordered a 7 when I would normally wear a 7.5, fit perfect. I recommend them for sure!

I love these shoes because they are lightweight, have quick laces, are durable, and require no break-in period. Despite usually wearing a size 7.5, the size 7 fits me perfectly. While reviews on sizing are mixed, Salomon's website leans towards sizing down. Choosing the size 7 turned out to be a great decision for me – they're like a glove. I'm so satisfied that I'm contemplating getting another pair as a backup :). In any case, these shoes are fantastic for running in various conditions, whether it's on trails, in the mud, or elsewhere. If, like me, you often find yourself searching for the ideal trail shoe, look no further – this is the one!

Update: 2/17/22I still really like these shoes, but recently had me feet measured for a new pair of work shoes (I'm a nurse). Ends up I need more room in the toebox. After wearing a pair of Brooks that are the correct size, I find these shoes are too tight in the toebox. When I put the insoles that I need for arch support in them, it makes the problem worse. The reason I took I star off though is because the tread is wearing what seems to me to be really fast. See picture. The left is worse than the right. These have roughly 150 miles on them. My Garmin seems to think 400 miles is when you should retire shoes. If that is correct, these will not make it that long. When I did research on other brands, I was finding some in the same price range that people were getting 600 miles out of. I plan to re-home these and buy a pair that are the correct size.I love these shoes. They are super comfy, look really cute and grip the ground like nobody's business. I had been using them on paved routes, so I knew they were good there, but recently had the opportunity to use them on a trail that was mixed terrain. They handled great! There were rocky parts, slightly muddy areas, tree roots, and a steep downhill grade that was rocks. I didn't slip or turn my ankle once. I have a chronic back injury and I worry about falling and causing a flare up. I have enough confidence in these shoes that I feel that as long as I use my normal amount of caution, these shoes have my back. I also really like the quick laces, I didn't know if I would, but they are great. Just look at the paper explaining how to route them to "tie" them. Super easy.I hate ordering shoes without trying them on. I usually wear a 6.5 or 7. Amazon recommended a 6.5 and seeing as how I didn't know which size I needed, I went with it. The fit perfect.

As hiking shoes go, these are really cute. We live in Nevada so the dusty trails mean darker shoes look really dirty. These actually disguise any dust and marks. They give great support and traction and are light enough so my feet aren’t sweating. That aren’t too bulky either, so easy to pack. They look great with shorts or long pants, so very versatile. Solomon’s are a trusted brand, so I know I’ll have these beauties for years to come because they are so durable.

It didn’t need to break them and I run a 5k trail race!

I will never buy a shoe that is not a salomon!! I feel like I'm wearing orthotics...my feet are sooooo happy when they slip into a salomon. 🥰🥰🥰

Love these runners and I don’t even run. I use them in the garden and hiking, great support, traction and style.
