Enamelware Covered Butter Dish - Solid White with Red Rimnice item but the black paint is showing through the red. If I had wanted black I would have ordered black.

My old glass butter dish finally broke. Replaced it with this one after looking at MANY styles and prices. I like the simplicity. I like how old-fashioned it looks. I love the red color. AND ~~ it's metal!! Won't break! And keeps the butter very, very cold. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Quality seemed OK but returned it because it's much larger than a standard butter dish.

It's a butter dish. It holds butter very well and looks nice on the counter. Not sure there's much more to say.

I love the fact that this dish is wide enough to rest the butter spreader on. It's light weight but durable so far, no chips in the enamel even after dropping.

The red band around the lid was not painted enough so you can see raw enamel where there should be red.It looks really bad,I would not have bought this if other reviewers had this problem. I always read alot of reviews before I buy anything. This is the first time I have ever been disappointed in a product I have purchased off of Amazon. I did not return it because I bought the matching canisters, they were very nice.
