OccuNomix 940-BDN MiraCool Cooling Neck Bandana, Blue Denim

This is a great little accessory. It stays cool for days after you get it good and wet. I wear it around my neck constantly in the North Carolina heat. The seam can be a bit irritation, and I wish it was wider, but for the price, you can't go wrong. I'm about to order a few more - will be giving them as gifts.

They used to sell these at the giant Shipshewana flea market I went to near my home town like.. 25 years ago. I've never seen them anywhere else, but I knew I wasn't going to Mexico in 100+ degree temperatures without one.It works great, soak it in cold water, it puffs right up and keeps you cool. I actually bought a second one after I made sure it puffed up all the way. That way you can just keep one in the fridge or a cooler to swap out when it eventually warms up, but it lasts a long while. I do wish there were more pattern options (my last one had cute frogs lol) but the "denim" pattern is decent

It was cheep and it works, though the color is way off from what the photos showed, its more grey then blue.

Looks much brighter in the photo. Also I thought this was a Prime item, but it wasn't. I paid $3.99 in shipping.

It sure doesnt look or feel like its going to work very well. BUT IT DOES A GREAT JOB!! I was impressed at how much it grew once it had soaked. The cool lasts for awhile and comes right back once its rinsed out in cold water. I store it in a ziplock in the fridge for the next day.

I think this cooling scarf works great. I have to wonder if the person whose negative review I saw was using it correctly. You need to soak it in cool water and then massage the cooling gel around so that it expands along the length of the scarf. Then squeeze out any excess water and wear. I found it worked wonderfully all day while the AC is out at work. When it warms a little I flip it over so the opposite side is against my neck. I flip it every hour or so, but only had to soak it once a day. It makes me feel so much cooler, and at this price it's a real bargain. Of course at this price it doesn't look like an expensive silk scarf, but I wasn't expecting that. I am going to buy more so I can rotate them.

This wasn’t what I hoped it would be. I have a gel cooling neck wrap years ago. It entire wrap was full of the cooling gel and did a wonderful job of keeping me cool in the Arizona heat. This one is only partially filled. It’s also much narrower so it doesn’t cover as much area and definitely doesn’t stay cool very long. It’s ok for 30-45 minutes.

These 100% work, they do what they claim, they are essentially perfect little personal coolers. Why are the all ugly? Why can't they make just like, one that isn't just hideous???

When my MiraCool arrived, the padding inside the middle section,, which I imagine is there to hold water, was all shunted up to one end and I could not redistribute it along the section.

Deberían de fabricar sin el gel y agregar a la parte frontal material absorbente para sudoración. No siempre se usa en construcción donde tienes a la mano agua fría para humedecer y activar el gel, el uso que le doy es en campo.

Product works just like advertised

One of the 4 was poorly sewn allowing the cooling gel beads to pour out before even being used for the first time.Very cheaply made.

Started leaking a strange substance almost immediately. I threw it out. I would not recommend this product.
