Works about how I'd expected. Once tightened into the CD slot it holds my iPhone 14 pro no problem but doesn't seem the sturdiest. I'm always afraid the unit is going to fall down as it did once early in my use of the product. I re-tightened and haven't had an issue since. It's a good way to have a phone mount using existing space I wasn't using.

This product seemed sturdier when i had a smaller phone but with a larger one (iphone 14 pro) it does tend to bounce around while the car is in motion. Overall good product for the money though. Still would recommend.

I've been using this product for about a month. The backet that goes into the cd tray works fairly well. Once tightened, it affixes to the cd slot pretty well. That backet does move a little bit bit not bad overall. The ball socket does a pretty good job of maintaining orientation as well. Then there's the cellphone holder jaws. The mechanism is awful. The first time I used it, on jaw closed faster than the other, causing the usb charging port to misalign with the slot at the base. And this happens frequently. I temporarily resolve this by manually tugging at the arms until they are the same length. The gear mechanism is cheap and I feel like they don't line up well inside the phone holder.

I had a different CD slot phone holder. I loved it. It just didn't work for my new case. So I bought this one. I like it, but it has its issues.*Pro's*-The "feet" at the bottom are curled upward at the end. This prevents any phone from sliding out the from bottom.-This phone holder stays where you put it, but it is easy to adjust it.-The release button is at the bottom of the unit. I find that this makes it easier to release the phone quickly, since you don't have to search around behind the phone for the button.-It does hold my iPhone 6s Plus...Barely. I doubt it would hold a bigger phone like a Note.*Con's*-If you have it installed with the "locking wing nut" down, it doesn't adjust down far enough to be able to see the phone clearly. Way too much glare.-If you have it installed the other way, it completely blocks the preset buttons on the radio. In my car, anyway.-In my car, either way you install the phone holder blocks the radio display completely. You cannot even see the time.All in all, this is a nice phone holder. It is very sturdy, and the price is great. That said, I will probably go back to my original phone holder when I get a new iPhone in September. Pretty sturdy. As with anything it can occasionally get hit and loosen.

My 2011 Toyota has the CD player ,which I never use, so I was very pleased to find a product that would not block my air vents and give me clear front window view and and radio access. I continued to tighten adjustments to where it does not leave the position I set to hold iPhone 13 Pro Max with thick wallet. It has been great to have this product!

When mounted with the stump screw down it tilts towards the front windshield and in bright sunlight the phone screen cannot be seen. I mounted the holder upside down to minimize this problem, But now it covers my back up camera view.

I really wanted to give this 5 stars. I got it for my kid to use in the car.Three issues with it.1. the ball/swivel is loose. I couldn’t tighten it so that the phone stayed still. It was still loose. So, work around is stuff tissue into it before snapping the ball on.2. see 1st image. The slat is short for the Cellet holder, compare it to what I have in my car which has longer slat. So, b/c it’s so short, it doesn’t hold in the CD slot so it keeps falling out. And when phone is in it, it’s heavy and falls out real fast.3. the plastic snapped (see 2nd image). when tighting to keep the hold in place, the plastic snapped, you can see the cracks.I’d like to give it another try if the retailer would send me a replacement b/c I want to really like it so my kid can use it while she’s driving.

Took forever to get the product. 3 to 4 weeks. When installed, the ratchet system that allows you to angle the phone where you like, could not hold the desired position. Kept failing resulting in the phone facing down. Eventually just superglued the wretched thing at the desired position but this means it cannot be adjusted anymore. What a waste of money.

For the price it works and does not drop the phone off unless you are really bumping down a road. It doesn't hold phone position tight but works. Adequate but I am looking for a better solution

Le quedó bien a una Sportage, el único tema es que el radio es inclinado y la posición del celular no queda completamente viendo al conductor, supongo que en un estéreo vertical no tiene ese problema
