Replica WW1 British Lee Enfield Sling- M.E.Co 1913

This is overall a great canvas reproduction sling! The quality is fine and it is easy to install. As far as installation, be aware that the hooks face out away from the wood of the rifle. Installing the sling with the hooks facing towards the wood can dig into the wood of your rile and into your shoulder should you carry it.

Looks wonderful on my 1917 Australian SMLE MK III

Arrived early. Well packaged. Fits my SMLE perfectly and looks original . No worries about it coming loose etc, very strong. As mentioned in another review, ensure the hooks are away from the rifle to avoid damage. I did do a longer review with a pic of it fitted to the rifle, but Amazon threw a hissy fit!! Imagine selling a product for a certain item, but that item may not be viewed.... so 5 stars for the company who supplied the sling (whom I shall deal with direct going forwards). Amazon 0 stars, for trying to be the guardian of morals. Shame they don't take the same moral high ground when it comes to all the cheap/knockoffs/crap they sell.
