Now don't take me wrong because this is a neat little item. A cable that can connect by magnetism to your device via one of three adapters (a standard USB micro & USB-C adapter & an iPhone lightning). It even has a small light on one side of the cable (which will help you to know if the cable is oriented correctly for a device's data transfer via the USB micro adapter as it will charge through it in either orientation). It's just that I have several devices & when I saw how well this cable worked I bought a second one, hoping to have them all adapted to this cable system & that's where I was reminded about the properties of magnetism; the second cable REPELS all of the originally attached adapters & as such are NOT usable with the new cable. Is it a deal breaker? No. Of course not. It's just an unlucky disappointment.

I was super skeptical about these since I was in a kickstarter that could not get them right and tried other knockoffs that also turned out substandard. So far these have out performed my (ok granted limited) expectations. I have tried them in the iPhone 8, iPad 10.5" and various gaming controllers which all worked great. I just bought several more and plan to leave the ends in all my Xbox and PS4 controllers and setup a magnetic charging area with a bunch of cables. This turns out to be a good thing since my Xbox pro controller is starting to have issues with the charge port from so much cable insertions and removals!

Could make big improvement by making available more cables for quick connection in different locations by leaving the little magnetic connector in my phone all the time. When ordering another unit the magnetic polarity was reversed compared with my older unit making them incompatible. This became even more important when I sought to replace the magnetic lightening connector that had come apart from my first unit.Still it perfomed its purpose so well I ordered a 3rd so I would 2 cables that magnetically matched 2 cables.

I got one of these cables about a month ago and so far have very little to complain in the quality. It feels really robust, And the magnet is surprisingly strong.But is a helpful note to anyone who is considering this; it can only charge at standard voltage. It is not compatible with fast-charging of any kind. Most cables don't seem to care what voltage you put through them. But this one has an indicator light on it that I'm guessing is a little picky.I used it on a fast charger for about 3 weeks then suddenly out of nowhere it just wouldn't charge and the light keeps blinking.. When plugged into a standard charger, the light goes solid and it charges just fine.So the about three weeks of fast charging I got out of it was nice, but it's over and back to regular speed.It doesn't say anywhere in the item description whether it can fast charge or not. But considering nearly all smartphones fast charge now I expected it.

I have a Nexus 5. As anyone with microUSB knows, the plugs are designed to more or less self destruct after a certain time period strictly based on the fatigue of metal on the 2 locking "pins". I've gone through many cords with this phone (and about as many screens, which is why I keep it).The fact I don't have to remove the tip when I take it off the cord has been a godsend. the magnets are strong enough that if you don't disconnect it to the side, it WILL take the tip out, but that's not a problem once you get used to it. The cord charges as fast as advertised, it DOES have data capability, and the tips that plug in to Apple or USB-C are also solid as far as connectors go. This is one of the best cords I've had because of charge rate, but with the added benefit of the tip being break-away, I don't think I will have to buy another one any time soon.The oval profile means it doesn't have nearly as much sticking out of the front or back like with the 360 degree connectors others sell, and the tip itself wraps around the magnet, not just stuck on awkwardly like the last 360 one I tried.Very much recommend this cord to anyone.

I love the concept of magnet chargers, and have tried/ returned a few before I found this one. I love this cable. I use it in my truck for CarPlay, and love that it will disconnect in the event that the phone falls/ gets disconnected... without causing damage to the phone itself. Also, the fact that it easily connects to the magnet port is a big plus.Two small issues: 1) my initial magnet 'plug' broke. However customer service was great and I had a replacement quickly. 2) For some reason, my iPhone XR will not recognize the cable from time to time in my vehicle. I remove the plug for 10 seconds, and re-attach to get it to work. Odd and wish there was a way to resolve that. Open to ideas.All in all a great product. Would recommend.

Love this product. Works great on the iPad, Apple Pencil V1 and so far all my micro usb and usbC items. But it doesn’t work for iPhone 11 Pro plus. At least not when the insert is left in the phone. If you remove it and reinsert it, it’ll begin the charge like normal. But that defeats the purpose of having the product in the first place. It may be a safety feature of iPhone but I’m not entirely sure. Other than that, happy with the purchase.

I ordered two in this item and only received one

I did a quick test with this cable against a usb c cable that came with a portable Samsung SSD I had, and they charged at exactly the same rate (ie the rate of the wall charger so 2.1 amps I believe). So as far as I can tell these cables will not be the limiting factor in your charge speed.I used to use micro to usb c adapters, but they would bend the connector and very clunky to use. I like this a LOT more. The ends can sometimes be a little hard to get out (they really really seat inside strongly), but especially if you were the type of person who would just leave the end plugged in (and then use the magnetized cable) these would be AMAZING. For me I don't like leaving the end plugged in, but even still I'd rather tote around the small ends instead of using micro to c adapters.The only downside is you need to be careful while charging (ie. because it's just magnetized it's easy to become unplugged). So you can't really just throw it in your bag and trust it's still charging, but if you're just going to lie it on a table while charging anyways it's perfect.If you found this helpful please click the helpful button. What a great idea and space saver to have one cable with multi changing heads connected magnetically. Less cables in my desk drawer is always great. I often use and interchange the mini USB head and the lighting connector head which both work great. The nylon braided cable feels more flexible and sturdy than some of the cables I used before. And with the 3.3ft cable length, it allows you to use it in more situations.Unfortunately when unplug the cable from a unit, the magnetic heads sometimes come off the cable and get stuck in the unit. It would be great if they designed the heads to lock to the cable.

Excellent product which should preserve the life of all my device port connections.Only downside I can see, is eventually the magnetic detachable plugs which form the cable connection will eventually get lost.I wished I could purchase more at more reasonable price instead of the $11.99 asking price for three!Overall a very good worthwhile product.

This is great a great bundle. I've used it on various devices and they work well. The magnetic connector is strong. The only issue I had was for the iPad it was a little too loose so the magnet was able to pull it out of the device. A recommendation would be to include small sleeves or adhesives to the connector to "sleeve" it to the right tightness. Otherwise all the other connecters like USB-C, MicroUSB worked well and was able to get full "FAST CHARGE" through these cables. This is a great solution for any household with different devices. Absolutely love the user-experience by unifying the cables from all the devices to the same convenient magnetic connection.

It works perfectly, the light is visible to see in the dark, but not too bright to disturb your eyes. It charges fast, and it’s really great! Bought for the 3rd time already! Wish it came with replaceable heads only as I chipped one of the iPhone heads, so I bought new one. Didn't need the other attachments though, so it was kind of a waste to have all the others delivered. Wish there was an option to choose which heads to get, I would have gotten all lightning.
