Limited use
I bought this unit specifically because it stated it projected the speed on the windshield. I just got rid of my old 2000 LeSabre last year that had this ability from the factory and I really miss that. I can't believe that 20 years later it is still not standard on all cars. It is so convenient to take a quick glance at that ghostly projection instead of taking your eyes completely off the road to find your speed display on the dash. The unit seems to track everything it says it does and is bright enough but it has no projection mode. Simply laying it on the dash will put a nice display projection on the windshield, as long as you can read in a mirror. In order to do this properly it needs to have a setting that reverses the display so it will read correctly on the windshield. It says two places in the description that it can project to the windshield. "Head-up display - projects the driving speed on the windscreen.". But I guess they never said it would be readable. The only way to use this device is to use the included cheap plastic stand that needs to be glued to your dash so you can read the information directly off of the unit itself. I don't know about you, but your not glueing a 5¢ plastic bracket on my dash, no thanks. So I am left with a glowing green curiousity that I wasted my money on because the seller lied.

Great golf cart speedometer
Easy to install. Instructions leave a lot to be desired, especially the setup after installation. They are very brief and explain very little.Also, the timer is 24 hr time (military) should have `12 hr option.

It does what it's supposed to. The only issue is there is no on and off switch.
