This is a great beginner kitchen set. I am doing things room by room. It is well made and would even be good for young children as dollhouse furniture. It is sturdy and would be able to be handled by young children. All the doors open. There is no rack in the oven and only mesh like shelves in the refrigerator. I put small pieces of cardboard on the mesh and filled mine with miniature food.
