You will want to mix 0.8 oz of Taurus SC termiticide insecticide per 1 gallon of water in a pump sprayer. By spraying around the house in a band pattern that goes 1 ft up the side of your house and 1 ft out from the house. Using the Taurus mixture in this way will be setting up a great ant perimeter treatment. Make sure to remove vegetation that may be touching the house so the ants and other pests won't be able to bypass the treatment. Other areas of spray would be more entry points such as : doors (don't spray near door handles), windows, pipes, cracks, vents, holes, etc. Make sure to treat the joint where exterior siding (wood, vinyl, aluminum or other similar materials) meets the cement, brick or block foundation. Treat anywhere electrical, cable or telephone wires enter the house.

Taurus kills Ccarpenter Ants!
I purchased Taurus SC 20 oz bottle-Termiticide in an attempt to get rid of a Carpenter ant invasion. The Carpenter ants got behind the vinyl siding on the house, and I could not locate them to spot treat them without tearing the siding off. There were numerous places where they were hiding. They suddenly started swarming and coming into the house at all kinds of places. They were coming out of the AC outlets, dropping out of the recessed lighting, and coming in around the doors.I first tried a gel bait containing Thiamethoxam, but after 3 days of no ant visits to the gel locations, I orderes the Taurus. I mixed up a couple gallons per the instructions and sprayed the ground around perimeter of the house. I also sprayed aroung the doors, windows, and other openings around the house. The ants were completely gone within 3 days. i have not seen one in over a week. This stuff works GREAT!

No more ants
Sprayed around the base of my building where it touches the concrete sidewalk - I have access to only two sides of the building as neighboring buildings are closely adjacent. The Argentine ants that had been sending many scouts into my kitchen and bedroom started dying off immediately. A few stragglers bothered me inside my home for a month or two afterwards, attracted to my laptop's electrical field, but I haven't seen an ant recently. Hopefully they won't move their nests to underneath the building, where I wouldn't be able to get to them. I'd rather not use this inside my home. I hope that no bees or other beneficial insects are landing in the sprayed areas... maybe I ought to use this stuff only indoors, after all, as having this outside is surely not doing local insects any good. I try to keep the spraying footprint small. It's important to dilute this product according to instructions. If you make it too weak, it won't kill the ants. If you make it too strong, the ants will detect it and avoid it.

Have NASTY yellow jackets on your property?
I used this Taurus SC to eliminate 5 yellow jacket nests on my 1 acre lot. It took 2 days! I mixed 4 drops in a single serving size can of chicken cat food (chicken liver and blood works, too) and placed the can directly on the nest hole very early in the morning before they got active, removing it at night so animals won't get the bait! The very next morning, NO YELLOW JACKETS!!!!And, as a plus, it also killed a colony of black carpenter ants that i was having a terrible time with in my house! I haven't seen a single black ant in my house since i treated for the YJ's!PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT use sugary baits with this product! That will attract honey bees and kill the whole hive, too!!! A HUGE NO-NO!(You may have to make a small cage from hardware cloth to place bait can in to keep pets out of the bait)Please USE WITH MUCH CAUTION!

This stuff is the bomb
Sprayed my detached garage around the foundation and in the cracks for ants. It's been about a month and I have a PILE of dead CARPENTER ants on my garage floor and each time I sweep them up there's more the next day!! Some are big ands with beige wings!! I'm so glad I got this stuff. These buggers don't know what they're in for. I'm going to hit it again any day now. I also sprayed into some ant pyramids I found pooching up in my paver patio in the sandy grout line. Bam. Those guys are done for too. It's like napalm for bugs!

Arrived Damaged, 1/3 Container. STILL Worked Wonders on Odorous & Pavement Ant Infestations!
The bottle arrived punctured, unfortunately, but the seller made it right. I was able to salvage a small amount of the solution and it worked wonders on my odorous house ants that were wreaking havoc on my household. Odorous House Ants are particularly diabolical because when crushed, they leave a gastly smell that is hard to remove. There are literally millions of these odorous ants, as well as some pavement ants. The Pavement ants aren’t invasive but the odorous house ants have been annoying us for at least the past 12 years. He tried Terro Bait, and that kept the, at bay for a while, but after a while, most of them lost interest and just walked right by the bait stations and live bait. We tried Raid spray shield (worked for maybe 10 days, less if they rain came, , diatomaceous earth, which literally did nothing to stop them, the ants walked through it like it was nothing and it didn’t seem to hurt them at all. I’ve tried other bait stations, sprays, every possible Terro product that’s been brought to market, some have worked better than others, but as I said, the ants seemed to have lost interest. The only Terro product that seemed to be marginally effective was the live bait that comes in the tiny 2 oz containers, but they really can’t be used outside because dirt, leaves or other debris tumbled over the bait and renders them useless, and inside they can be used, but it requires you to cordon off the era (I use Reynolds Wrap) in an area where I know the ants are entering, so that their only option is to eat the bait and bo back from where they came from (presumable back to their nest. This method works OK, but with the level of infestation in my home, I needed something heavy duty. I had a little over a third of the container left and I poured it in with the correct amount of water into my pump spray wand that a I bought on Amazon. I covered up my eyes, worse gloves with throwaway pants and a sweatshirt as well as a mask and got to spraying. I focused on the areas of entry, the foundation all along the House, and then I searched for the odorous house ants nests. Odorous ants are tricky because they don’t have just one nest, they have many, so it takes time to find them. I was able to find four or five within the first couple days, I sprayed them thoroughly with the insecticide concentrated with water and noticed the ants were immediately dropping dead. I found a particularly large next where there must’ve been a couple hundred thousand ants, subterranean and on the ground they were in the midst of finding a new nest as they were carrying eggs. I sprayed them all and have consistently sprayed anytime I’ve seen an outdoor total of a large number of ants. It’s really minimized the ant problem significantly. I walked around the back and front yard looking for ants earlier today and before I sprayed, keep in mind, I’d have seen hundreds and hundreds, I spotted one or two straglers. I really believe I’ve struck a death blow to the ants that have been plaguing us for so long, since we began spraying two week ago, Ive not encountered a single ant inside the house, before we were having so many that I was having to apply scotch tape to the corners of my room to prevent them from entering, now their numbers are drastically depleted. I have two dogs, both of whom are older, so I was worried about using such a potent product, but as long as you are smart with where protective gear and do not use on fruit bearing crops or allow pets to be around it until it is well and dry ( I err on side of caution and don’t let pets anywhere near where I’ve sprayed for 36-hours, why risk it? The damaged product was a letdown. But a little goes a long was and If the ants bounce back and re-populate, I’ll be ready. Would highly recommend, both the product and the seller who was really understanding and a credit to Amazon.
