Meet Padre Pio: Beloved Mystic, Miracle Worker and Spiritual Guide

I attended a special mass and presentation at my church, St. John Neumann Roman Catholic Church in North Las Vegas, NV., about Saint Padre Pio. I walked away wanting to know more about him and the miracles he performed. When finishing this book, I started and completed another book about him, Pray, Hope, and Don't Worry. When I look at my son, 34 years old and living with me, I now see him as a miracle in progress. The original diagnosis, at age 5, was that he would end up in a mental institution. Wrong diagnosis. He now works in a sheltered situation, loves to go to church and is friendly with several of the priests at our parish. God's graces have made him the young man he is today.

This was the first book I have purchased on Padre Pio and I fell in love with him! I had to buy two other books about this precious saint. This is a good book to read for first-timePadre Pio "fans". I fell so in love with him that I wrote to the address in the back of this book where he was a Friar and asked them if I could be one of Padre Pio's "spiritual daughters".This is a wonderful book, not too long but full of awesome stories and facts about this blessed Saint Padre Pio. The price was perfect and the shipping was very fast, too. Thank you!God bless you all.

"Meet Padre Pio" is not just a great book, it's very inspirational. I knew only his name before and was curious about his life. Yes, I know I could have gone to the Internet but I would never get as much detail and essence as this book provides. I'm only sorry I didn't read sooner. The life of St. Pio has helped me realize the importance of prayer. The author, Patricia Treece, is very good at providing true facts and dates and I enjoy reading all her books.

A great little book, with careful account of the life and person of Padre Pio. A must read for all interest in the power of saints and their service too and for us.

5 stars says it all. Get this book - it will change your life.What an amazing man! If you cannot get believe in his extraordinary feats, just look at his accomplishments, creating a world class medical facility in the middle of nowhere.

Good insight to a remarkable person.

Easy to read. I found this book very interesting. I knew a little about Padre Pio but I learned much more. if you are interested in the lives of contemporary saints you will like this book. I read it in about an hour and a half.

I have read several books on Padre Pio and this one follows true to what I have read about him .

OK - OK... I'm a hagiographer and simply love Padre Pio. But this is a great book again - on one of my favorite subjects: Padre Pio. You could say St. Padre Pio... but hey, everybody just still calls him Padre Pio. We all recognize in him that lovable, heroic Saint and priest who just knows the right things to say in a God-fearing way. Here is the man who saw hell! Here is the noble prayer-warrior who was happy to suffer for Jesus - his True Love. He was a knight of the Immaculate and never tired of hearing confessions for the Good God. I love to learn about his life. Patricia Treece is a very gifted writer. I'm sure you will enjoy this book too.

Excellent book very interesting to the life he lived with a lot of pain he had a lot of endurance.
