Just the facts!
Much more than your usual pretty picture book! This is a serious reference guide to the pivotal '70's .Well worth buying and keeping to settle questions the coffee table books raise.I'd recommend this to any serious student of motor racing history.

Awesome reference material
I was a bit skeptical when I first bought the book, but then could not put it down when I got it. There is so much rare information in this book, which you cannot find anywhere else. I have been a racing buff for over 50 years, and could not imagine that racing was taking place in places such as Greece and Costa Rica. The new version has great rare photos, for the price, it is a steal.

A Good Reference
Very great book for in depth information on virtually any Motorsport championship of the 70’s. Certainly makes a great coffee table reference sort of book.

Great historical book on revisiting motor racing in its renaissance - the 1970"s.
Motor Racing in the 70's is a really well written review of what I would consider the classic period of racing history. The writing style is straight forward, informative, fun, refreshing and very enjoyable. It is written by someone who is an expert in the historical field of motor racing and a true lover of the sport. He provides insights that make you think and furnishes the information concerning the background, history and statistics of places, people and vehicles. This book takes you on a true journey to revisit motor racing in its renaissance. We have the previous edition and this newer edition has more content and is expanded with many pictures. I highly recommend this book if motor racing from the 1970’s holds a special place in your heart.

Essential.
This book is a rare gem.Launched in 2018, the writer is Brazilian, living in Miami. That's why he managed to publish there in the USA, and the book is in English. The author is a motor racing fan.The structuring of the book is fascinating, the text absorbs. It's so much information that it scares! And it's not just focused on single seats. To insert so much information, there are two situations: the font is very small, and there are no photos, which is strange in a book of this type (clearly, the writer also didn't want to spend a single penny paying royalties for photos). The book can even be read out of order.Anyway, it's the cliché: if motoring from the 70s attracts you, the book is a must.

A wealth of information
There are many books on the market covering F1 and sportscar racing in flowing prose and with colour photos. This is different, as it's a 472-page black and white cornucopia of gems, highlighting racing all around the world in the 1970s, with the obvious centres of racing in the USA, United Kingdom, France, Germany and Italy supported by the lesser known sporting scenes in Chile, Mozambique and Puerto Rico. There's even a photo of a touring car race I witnessed at the Tatoi circuit outside Athens in 1971... We all know the facts we know and this book will add more new facts than any motor racing book I have come across for a decade.

Information packed
The information in the book is great but the quality isn’t the best. Bit disappointed.

Imprescindível.
Este livro é uma joia rara.Lançado em 2018, o escritor é brasileiro, morando em Miami. Por isso conseguiu publicar por ali nos EUA, e o livro é em inglês. O autor é aficionado por automobilismo.A estruturação do livro é fascinante, o texto absorve.

Fantastic!
Fantastic book! If you love Motorsport history you will love this book. Full of fascinating and esoteric facts from a decade of Motorsport that introduced a huge transition to the sport. What I found most interesting are the countries that had an active racing scene during the decade. Angola, Peru and Costa Rica are just a few that come to mind and I am nowhere near finished reading it. Highly recommended!

Don't waste your time on this one
Found the book to be very poorly written. The information is all there, but not set out in an in depth manner. One of the final chapters picked holes in other author's books for mistakes, yet this book also had many mistakes. Disappointed as it promised a bit more than it delivered
