It did get stuck in my pores but it did work with drying out my acne.

This stuff really works . The packaging is so unusual that you have to use a Q-tip. But, it really works to dry out an area on your face that’s oily or a pimple. When you wake up if you put a lot on your face looks charcoal in the areas you put it on. It really shows you your pores. You can’t see it inside your pores. But I think that is good. It showed me I need to exfoliate more. Since this one I found one in pink that is worse obtrusive looking. Don’t get it near your eyes. I would recommend using it in the daytime when you don’t have to go out or are watching TV. Then you won’t get it in your eyes. There is alcohol in it but if you only use a little Dab Then of course you can sleep in it. I slathered at all over. Very good product

I am normally a Mario Badescu gal, but thought I would give a new product with a similar idea a try! I’ve been using it for a week, and while I can’t say it’s better than the MB drying cream, it definitely isn’t worse from what I can tell. It’s the same size bottle, same qualms as the other product. Basically it works for me to put on emerging zits to prevent me from touching them in the evening... whether it does anything more I’m not sure. I do prefer the pink over the gray/black color drying on my face!

I was looking for a replacement for my empty bottle of drying lotion I got a year ago from Blue Mercury. This is a great replacement. I've been loving on charcoal products lately, especially from Glamglow but this is exactly what it says it does. You leave it on overnight with a dab of the solution (not pre-mixed) with a Q-tip until the morning and then you wash it off. It will dry the affected area. I will buy again.

Using for a couple of weeks adhoc. Does seem to reduce inflammation although it has a very strong smell (chemical smell) and does require a good face scrub to remove in the morning as it can sit in your pores. Overall pretty good.

The pink stuff works a little faster for me on smaller zits. The charcoal doesn't have any effect on any deep painful breakouts. Your results may be better than mine.

I've really liked the other Georgette Klinger products I've used, so I decided to try this one and I was not disappointed! I've only used it a few times but so far it has done a great job of quickly getting rid of pimples. I was afraid the black paste would get on my pillow at night but it didn't at all.

Works great for breakouts. They shrink up, inflammation is decreased and the breakout time is cut in half.
