I'm making hats for the homeless and this bulky yarn knits up quick. I am not a fan of acrylic yarns but it has a bit of wool in it. It has the Lion Brand quality that I appreciate; very few if any factory joins in each skein and I've bought several and have yet to have a tangle as with some other brands.It's a great yarn to work up quick hats, scarves, hand warmers with size 9mm (US 11)knitting needles.

This is the first time I have made a twin blanket from this product. It is wonderful to crochet with. Even the black (or heather type black) was fairly easy to crochet a simple half-double stitch blanket. I knew it would be a "winter" type blanket, but had no idea it would end up being so very heavy! I'm not disappointed in it though. It is almost like the "weighted blankets" that are being advertised to relax a person and soothe them. I am really amazed at the weight after only 1/3 of the blanket done. If you're looking for this type of heavy duty blanket, I used an "L" crochet hook - slightly smaller than the recommended "N", this yarn will give you what you want and is easy and fast to work up. I wouldn't recommend this for a baby blanket even in cold weather due to the weight. Otherwise, I'm thrilled and will order a lighter color next time to see the stitches better.

It’s a really soft and cuddly yarn, but it sheds like crazy! Made me sneeze a lot while working with it. I’ve washed it few times and it still sheds! It’s nice that I can wash it in a normal cycle in warm water and dry it in the normal cycle as well. Read all the reviews and only few people mentioned about it shedding. Now I’m embarrassed to give it as a gift. It’s too bad b.c I really like how soft and warm it is.

The yarn is thick and soft. I love the bigger bundle. It just lets you keep moving through your project. The tangerine color is quite pretty. It is a great color for a fall cowl!

I love this yarn but this color is horrible. It is a grayish purple with splotchy spots of what looks to be dried mustard. Recommend this yarn but not this color.

Made scarf and hat for my daughter and she loved them. Very easy to work with and very soft. Love that it's machine washable/dryable.

Perfect yarn to make a large blanket in no time. It took me about 10 hours to make a twin size blanket.

Nothing to do with the seller, I just found this wool to be quite scratchy. Knitted a scarf with it for my niece and she’s happy with it, so perhaps it’s just not suitable for me.

Great big balls of wool soft not wirey and does not shed. Knits up quickly for chunky knits.
