Great toy for children but it isn’t durable for a 2 year old. The screws are some what difficult to remove to insert batteries. Once you get past that it’s super fast (when driven on hardwood floors) and the lights are very bright.

I got this for my son for Christmas. Three of the black tires fell off after about 20 minutes of play. The red platform at the top of the ladder came off while my son was trying to put a Lego person inside. And the struts on the ladder came loose while he was raising the ladder.I supervised my son and made sure he didn't play rough with the toy. He was using it quite gently. But many of the parts either aren't secured in place or don't fit together very well.For $30, we didn't expect a top of the line toy. But this thing is going to fall apart in less than a week.

Apparently I didn't read the reviews closely enough; when purchasing this I was under the impression the boom was remote controlled and that the lights and sirens could be turned on and off while the truck was in use. Neither was the case. However if you do not mind listening to a fire siren wail endlessly for 20+ minutes at a time while your 4 YO bashes it into walls, doors, furniture, and down the basement stairs with her terrible driving skills, it's ok (bonus: fire fighter Barbie was riding on it the first time it went down the stairs, so that was kind of funny). The toy appeared cheaply built, but she has already driven it down the basement stairs twice and repeatedly crashed it full speed into every wall and item of furniture we own and it still works, so it's at least somewhat durable. I would give it 4 stars if you could turn that wretched siren off and still drive the truck.

My nephew is obsessed with fire trucks and needed a bigger one since he was out growing his others. I found this one and thought it would be perfect as it has the remote control. He opened this on Christmas and you would have thought I gave him the winning lottery ticket. He was so excited and had to have it out of the box immediately! He loves the ladder and the lights! My sister in law text me a few days later saying he has not put it down!The price was just right for the toy. I had seen other options, but as he is a growing boy figured this price point would be fine for how quickly he will grow out of it or a sibling will break it LOL

This is very durable and easy for my 4 year old to figure out. However, only reason why I have this 4 stars is because I wish the remote range were a little longer and the batteries wear down quickly! Doesn’t do well on carpet or concrete, but excellent on wood, tile, or laminate floors. Regardless it put a smile on my kids face and entertains him for quite some time so it’s worth it.

Just awesome I bought it for my neighbor’s son and he absolutely love his fire truck it was his big 4 birthday so thank you I have 4 grandson’s and I look forward to ordering more I now need the fire hat boots and coat thank you and nice meeting you also

I got this for my son’s Christmas gift. He loved it so much that I purchased one for my godson. Just have to remind him to turn off the siren to keep from running the battery. Definitely a winner!
