This is a great sauce, as it is really rich in flavor! It is really spicy, as I believe that it’s best on ribs as it was a bit strong for brisket and brisket sandwiches! None the less, it’s a great sauce that’s thick and rich!

Ever since I moved away from KC, I can only get this BBQ sauce online. It's definitely worth the extra expense to have this tasty stuff shipped to me.

If you are already familiar with Kansas City BBQ sauces, then you already know you are getting the highest quality, savory BBQ sauce on either side of the Mississippi. This one in particular is extra-rich with a good spicy bite to it. It is not exceedingly hot as suggested on the label, however, it is most definitely present.I have been purchasing Cowtown NotLD for years, and it is the family favorite. In fact, we've completely stopped even purchasing any other brand, and have no interest in trying any others. Visitors to our home are always very impressed with its flavour and we are always complimented on it, even months or years afterwards.I cannot say enough good things about this particular blend, and if I had only one negative thing to say, it would be that it unfortunately goes too fast. Especially since we've started using it on other meats (e.g. beef & chicken). (Of course, we've begun ordering the 1-Gallon bottles, so it doesn't run out that quickly anymore!)Having tried almost every other Kansas City BBQ Store sauce, I recommend this one above all others. Just the right amount of sweet and heat. Tastes great, not overpowering. Use on everything

I first tasted this sauce as the “spicy” option at Joe’s Kansas City (best barbecue this Texan has ever had, by the way, and worth the long wait in line). It is almost thick as molasses and tastes great, with a bit of “afterburn.” I was so glad to see it available on Amazon!

This is one of our favorite sauces. My Brother introduced me to this sauce when he lived in KC and we went to what was known as Oklahoma Joe's Bar b q. I think it may have changed to just Joe's now. Has the right a mount of heat, and the right amount of flavor. We actually use this the most during holiday season. For left over turkey Sandwiches and almost anything else.

Bbq sauce is amazing (we have had it before and trying to get it again), but came poorly packaged with a broken lid and can’t be returned.

Now my favorite bbq sauce ever. Just wish we had a sugar free option.
