There is much to recommend the wearing of a sign of one's consecration - be it, for example, a simple chain worn around one's wrist or a cross or a medal of Our Lady worn outwardly and attached to a chain. Such a sign, however, must not be ostentatious and it should be made of simple, sturdy materials. A chain worn as the outward sign of one's consecration is not mere jewelry and, in its simplicity is, in the words of Fr. de Montfort, "far more glorious than all the gold ornaments worn by monarchs." Available in two lengths: 7" and 8".
