It's a wonderful thing when a tool you thougt was as good as dead is suddenly revived by a new battery. My old one was the original and, yes, it was several years old. This new battery gave it new life and for that I am grateful. No idea about the longevity of this, really, because I've only had it for a few months, but it holds a charge nicely instead of cutting out as soon as the motor has gotten up to speed. I love Dysons, but I feared that buying a new battery was going to be throwing good money after bad. That, happily, wasn't the case.

Replaced the old battery and now the vacuum is as good as new. Battery run time is as good as if not longer than I recall from the original part.

These batteries do not fit in charger’s right you have to put them in the charger and literally hold them down or weight them down! I have two different charges that are original to my drill and they would do the same thing in both chargers. I shouldn’t have to hold them apply pressure to get them to charge.

Make sure the replacement battery is 5000mAh

Mainly ordered these to match my dewalt tools but know they are NOT black and yellow. They are black and red. 1 star for showing the description of the item. So misleading. Other than that great battery.
