Good design, a bit flimsy
6/2016 update - didn't listen to my own advice and bought another plastic one. Broke after one year. Couldn't find powder coated aluminum so bought painted steel. I assume I will touch it up annually as the instructions say to store indoors.6/2015 update - One of the three arms broke when my wife moved it. We are using it with two arms for now, when it finally dies I will replace it with something made of powder coated aluminum at a much higher price.This is my second one of these. The first one broke when it was knocked over. It was a couple of years old having been through multiple summers and winters. It is possible that the plastic became more brittle as a result.The design is very good. It can hold enough towels, wet or dry and is fairly stable (although it can be knocked over.)My first choice would be this design in powder coated aluminum. This is a second choice with the thought that it will need replacing every few years.

Okay Quality
Okay quality. You get what you pay for. I like the wrought iron version better as seen in the Frontgate catalog, but that is $200. This will last a few seasons and is not super sturdy but does the job.

Convenience PLUS!!!
This was a much needed item for our pool. Instead of draping towels over the lawn furniture here was a handy way to keep them close to the pool steps where we needed them. It is attractive and very functional. A great buy. Thanks.

Sturdy and handy
A very nice place for towels and coverups, goggles, glasses, watches etc. and handy as you step in or out. When the base if full of sand it is sturdy and practical. Glad we bought it.

Item always looks crooked
Unfortunately this item started tilting almost immediately. It has not held up very well at all and looks kind of trashy as it just leans to the side and is crooked. Would not buy again. :-(

Great poolside towel rack
Great poolside towel rack. Make sure to fill the base with sand and not water so it won't break the base in freezing weather.

Looks good but will not last:Bought this rack twice. First time it lasted a year. A tree branch fell and caught one arm breaking it.Second time the arm broke off by itself during winter season: no branches, no wind, nothing on it...
