Kopa Foods Virgin Coconut Oil -- Made from Organic Coconuts -- Use as Cooking Oil, and For Hair and Body (28 Ounces)

I originally bought this to use for Bullet Coffee. Haven't used it for that yet. However, I have since discovered so many other uses for it. I do my nails every day, and there are times when I have to use pure acetone because of the polish I'm wearing that day (such as glitters). Acetone wreaks havoc on nails, making them dry and brittle. I have found that using coconut oil on my nails and then wearing cotton gloves maybe three or four times that day will completely replace the moisture to my nails. The other use that has been extremely helpful is to my skin. My entire life the skin on my nose is constantly flaky and dry, no matter what I use. One day, just for giggles, I put coconut oil on my nose. I could not believe that it was completely smooth and moist in only a few hours! I have also started using this oil for shaving my legs. And what a difference THAT makes. Skin is so smooth with no razor burn at all. It's great for dry, cracked lips too. A very versatile product and a great discovery!

Purchased this product approx a week ago for $10.33, several weeks prior the product was selling for $9.99. Now the selling price is down to $8.95. price fluctuation annoying. label was bubbly and slightly greasy feeling, as was the lid and bottle itself before I even opened it. more care in packaging would improve rating of product. Organic certification should be printed on the bottle if indeed the coconuts are organic, as well as jar being labeled BPA free for example. is product non-GMO or Fair Trade (all bonus qualities)? is so, that info printed on label would be a plus also. the coconut oil I currently use for cooking comes in a glass jar which is the packaging I prefer for food use, esp in food items that seem to be faddish or trendy at the time. however, as this product lacks or appears to lack some of the qualities we look for in foods I will use it primarily topically. product has a light clean fragrance and I have tried it as a skin moisturizer with decent results so far.

I am quite the connoisseur of coconut oil, let me start off by saying. I have been using it for years, way before it was "the thing" to do. I use it on my skin every day, twice a day, and cook with it as well. As you can imagine, I go through it relatively quickly. With that being said I have purchased quite an abundance over the year. Never have I ever had one as terrible as this one.I don't know what the heck went wrong with the making of this or if I just got a bad batch but WOW. The smell radiating from this bottle is enough to make me throw out the entire tub and call it a day. It smells like something burnt and/or rotten mixed with a little coconut. As a matter of fact the burnt/rotten smell covers up almost all of the coconut smell.I'm sorry if this was not the case for everyone but I am so upset to pay extra to put coconut oil on my skin and get a large tub of it like this only to have to throw the entire thing out. I should have asked for my money back but I feel as though maybe I just got a bad batch since a lot of other reviews are positive. However, I will not be buying this brand a second time to find out...

Our family is a number one user of Coconut Oil. As a family, we are using coconut oil for almost 5 years already. I myself grew up in a tropical country, Philippines in which Coconut trees are abundant. I grew up seeing, and observed the entire process of how my grand mother making her own coconut oil and processed it using matured coconut fruits starting from de husking the coconut through shredding the meat, getting the milk, and cooking it to extract the pure virgin oil. So I can easily tell if the available oil in the market is pure, and authentic one.I gave 5 stars for this Kopa Extra Virgin Organic Coconut Oil since it passed my standards. As a home maker I am confident to share my family experience with this product and recommend this with my friends only the stock is unavailable.

I recieved this and the jar was oiley, it had leaked even onto the box, the seal was still on so the packaging should have been better to keep it upright or something, therefore I didn't get a full jar. However the oil itself smells Wonderful! Nice and coconutty! this is what I was looking for. I havn't used it yet but know the smell will give me the flavor I want. I was bying Jarrow extra virgin and decided to try this instead but feel jipped not getting a full jar.

Great product for skin and hair. I apply Kopa CO on my face in the morning and at night and after two weeks of use I received compliments on my skin. I was told that the tone looked more even and that I was glowing. My skin is so smooth now and breakouts have diminished tremendously. It is a great moisturizer for all over body usage as it softens the skin and does not leave a greasy film. I had to try this product after reading all of the great reviews and I am glad that I did. I have told so many of my friends about this particular coconut oil and they have recently purchased the product. A little goes a long way. You will not be disappointed!

I love this coconut oil. Strong, delicious coconut-oil smell that fades into a delightful summery scent when used on the skin... Reminiscent of a good tanning oil, you know?I love it as a moisturizer. It leaves my skin so soft. I use it on my face at night and sleep in it (it is quite shiny and I don't find that it absorbs too quickly) and in the morning, my skin is healthy-looking and surprisingly matte. It also makes a primo body scrub when mixed with sugar and used in the shower... your skin will feel so pampered!

Wow I love this product !! I don't write many reviews on any product. As you age many people think the telling sign is your face but it is also your hands. I use it as a moisturizer and deodorant which works great. It was when that I started using it on my hands that the product can only be described as amazing. My hands are regaining a smoother and more hydrated look. Ordering two now because I realized my whole body loves this for hydration alone . Thanks !!
