Great trowel for oikder people who find it hard to bend over to plant
It is so nice to not have to bend over to plant. With this long-handled trowel the planting is a snap.

Warranty? No luck after contacting Burpee and Amazon
This shovel broke after a few days of use by my wife.Since it has a 10 year warranty, I tried to get a replacement(Maybe a bad weld) and Amazon sent me to contact Burpee directly. After emailing Burpee, they sent me back to Amazon. Uncle...Its a bummer because my wife liked this Shovel.

Attachment to handle
I'm not sure how long the metal will stay attached to the handle. It was was slightly loose when delivered.

Great for raised beds
My wife loves it for working on raised beds (36' and 48"). Quality construction.

Poor quality check
Rivet holding the handle into the wood was poor on my model, rattles around, took it out and put it in the opposite way, had more grip but then it left the sharp edge of the rivet, i can file it down and then see how long that fix lasts but i shouldnt have to fix something i bought new that touts a 10 year warranty. Overall though it's fairly strong stainless construction of the metal trowell itself

Blade bent backwards on the third time I used it.
What a disappointment. I was excited to find this tool and it was helpful for digging holes for small plants. However, the third time I used it, digging in sandy soil, the blade bent backwards so that the tip is behind the handle when held vertically. Thus, you can’t scoop out soil with it any more. So it it certainly not worth the money.
