Dia De Los Muertos: Day of the Dead and Sugar Skull Coloring Book Paperback – April 16, 2015

This was a GREAT coloring book with a lot of great different designs for each kind of artistic skull. The paper is a little thick and very white, but I don't know that it would stand up to permanent sharpie or marker. I would recommend using crayons or colored pencils for these drawings. I originally bought them so that I could veg out with my boyfriend and meditate, but it's becoming a very relaxing date for us and we love putting the final product on the fridge. We joke that we'll eventually frame one of them if they were good enough (he doesn't know this, but I'm going to take our final products and scan them into a book of our own, with the date that it was completed next to each). This book would make a great gift for anyone who needs some relax/down-time and who would enjoy this little aspect of Mexican culture.

I love these books. I'll be honest, I'm a man, and at first, I thought the idea of adult coloring books was stupid, and for women... but now I understand them, and use them often. They can help with concentration, things like quitting smoking, figuring out moods, and problems... I really do recommend this book and getting into the habit of coloring as a form of therapy.... Make sure you have quality colored pencils though... not cheap ones... These pictures tell a story... they arent scary or negative, they are what you make them!

This is a collection of about 25 line drawings that are suitable for fill-coloring.Good:--Many interesting drawings, both joyful and "grotesque," as is typical for the style of Dia De Los Muertos.--The drawings are fun, and there is a good variety.Adequate:--the paper is nice and white, and is of sufficient quality to stand up to erasing. Good for colored pencils, but could be tighter, like the paper in the "Outside the Lines" coloring book ( Outside the Lines: An Artists' Coloring Book for Giant Imaginations ).Summary:--The drawings are sophisticated and satisfying to work on.--This, along with Outside the Lines, are the two best coloring books I know of.

Very good art but I was very disappointed at how few pages there were. To me it was overpriced for what you get. There are other sugar skull books at half the price with triple the sheets.

The paper is heavier so you can color without concern and it has a good variety of designs for Día de los Muertos. I would like to see someone create a coloring book that has some of the action pictures included such as people celebrating or dancing. This book is just as it says it focuses on the Skulls for the holiday. I do like the designs in this book.

Dia De Los Muetos coloring book is s great way to spend an hour coloring a human skull with intricate designs. The designs call out for bright colors and they are just plain fun. One of the best thing about this book is that the designs are on single pages-no back to back designs leading to bleeding colors. Over all a great bit of fun.

I got this Dia De Los Muertos coloring book to give as a gift to a Spanish Teacher friend. She loved the variety of coloring pages and thought that once colored they were beautiful.

The paper is very thin, so markers will bleed through the pages, but the designs are fun to color. I've come home to find both my mom and my kid coloring in it.

Lovely book and if you want to frame or take out and of the pictures they come out easily. Pages are thick so when colouring using felt tips they don’t run though
