I have a rope halter by another maker and it stinks ROYALLY. It’s floppy and doesn’t stay tied. Very poor quality. There is something about the materials that is used in Clinton Anderson’s halter that makes is above any other halter. It’s high quality, stays in place, and reliable. I will never consider another brand of halter. Love this halter! Only thing that I would like changed, making teal an option. Additionally, his method of horsemanship works and this is an integral part of earning the respect from your horse.

These are the best rope halters for problem kids. My stud colt decided he wanted to strike and rear. This halter helped tremendously, I don’t like using chains on young horses. I have been using them for years and they are the best ones out there imho!

I’ve used these halters for going on 15 years now. The first was a used one I bought off a retiring trainer and I still use it today. If you’re starting colts these are a must have. These have good knot placement and the cord is the perfect stiffness.
