Gear BeastUniversal Crossbody Cell Phone Lanyard Compatible with iPhone, Galaxy & Most Smartphones, Phone Case Holder & Cross Body Strap

It does fit my Samsung Galaxy S9 and I look forward to using it on a 3 week Viking European cruise. But meanwhile, I have discovered another COOL use for it (that I didn't think of before buying). I can hang my phone from my car's rear view mirror in order to use my phone's GPS (which is much more up-to-date than the GPS in my car). Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I will need to un-stitch & re-stitch the neck ribbon because it is twisted and will not lay perfectly straight as it is. Otherwise, the ribbon adjusts to a variety of lengths & is comfortable around the neck. It holds the phone securely & I won't worry about it dropping out of the holder. And very convenient to lift up to answer or to take pictures (beats jamming it into or taking it out of my purse multiple times a day).

I like being able to walk my dog and have my phone on me without having to carry it in my hand. Most of the time when I’m walking my dog in warm weather (I’m on GA), I’m not wearing clothing with pockets so I used to have to carry my phone in one and and my dog’s leash in the other. This product makes it super easy for my to put my phone into it when I’m taking my dog for a walk. I don’t have to remove the protective case on my phone and it takes 10 seconds to put it into this carrier. Love it!

The phone carrier itself is good. It works with my LG 7 thin Q. The problem people are having with this phone carrier is that the loop that connects it to the lanyard splits at the top. This is because the clip on the lanyard is so thin that it cuts right through the loop because all the weight of the phone is on that loop. I will be using a different lanyard with a better clip and I will be gluing stainless steel washers to each side of the loop so that the thin part at the top of the loop doesn't take all the weight of the phone. If that doesn't work, I will attach the lanyard to the top of the phone holder where it meets the phone. That part of the holder is thicker than the loop. I will update in a few weeks.

I bought this to use on a week long ski trip. Most similar items are not designed to be used with a phone that has a top center camera but this design worked well. I liked the "cross body" strap that was easily adjustable as opposed to a neck strap. I made it long enough to be able to slip my phone into the inside goggle pocket of my ski shell jacket but could easily pull it out to use for picture taking or to check a text on the slopes without worrying about dropping the phone. In the evening I could shorten the strap a bit so phone would hang at my hip like a cross body bag would.I can't really rate durability since I did not plan to have it on my phone all the time, just for the week long vacation, although I do plan to use it other times when I'm outdoors and worried about dropping my phone.When I first opened it, I was a bit nervous about the clip that came with it (it seemed not very secure) so I reinforced that with a key-ring between the "d-ring" on the strap and the plastic circle at the top of the holder. I'm using this while doordashing. The only problem is that one of the rubber pieces goes across my camera lens.

Sometimes I have pockets and sometimes I don’t.This lanyard is great for keeping my phone always accessible.

Very sturdy and phone is secure.

I would have preferred a cord not a ribbon. Seems to slip on adjusting the length. It serves the purpose but most likely will replace the ribbon with a lanyard type cord. It does hold my phone well.

Great in theory, but it won’t stay put. I use a waterproof case with my phone, and the silicone strips keep sliding off the corners and my phone ends up on the floor. Ended up tying some of the silicone strips together with string to make them stay put. It works, but it’s not very pleasing to the eye.

Great length, need to soften the silicone a little but that will soon happen in use. Saves my phone from dropping on the floor as I use it for my work but also need hands free much of the time. Very happy.

I would say quite durable, but very fiddly to get on over phone case. Quite expensive for what it is.

Broke the first time I had used it! The concept is great but the rubber is soo weak! As soon as something with some sort of an edge (keys or even an iPhone) the rubber will just snap.Soo disappointing

Didn't get to use product long. One the Rubber broke quickly while wearing so phone dropped. Also it covers part of your camera lenses. So my loss. Durability isn't what I expected. Bought because I thought the value was good but wasn't, sturdiness isn't if it broke so easy. Was to be able to hold cell phone instead of putting in pockets.
