Noxudol 750 - Aerosol

Having applied this product to my 6 year old Ranger FX4 only two weeks ago, I cannot comment on the products durability and will probably do so after it has been exposed to the coming winter months conditions .. However, if your vehicle, like mine, has extensive (typical Northeast condition)surface rust on frame, and under-body sheet-metal, short of a COMPLETE frame-up restoration project, involving a complete POR-15, or similar chassis coating treatment, this may be an inexpensive alternative .. I only wish I had known of it's existence 6 years ago, when the truck was new .. Having used a variety of wax-based rust-proofers extensively in the past, on a variety of vehicles, I've had very good luck slowing, or even eliminating the typical Northeast"3 year Rust-Bucket " effect .. However, over the years, most consumer useable wax-based rust-proofers seemed to disappear from the market .. Luckily this Swedish company has been making this product FOR YEARS, and using it on all government vehicles with excellent results .. Due to it's low viscosity, it REALLY DOES seep into every nook & cranny ..... rusted, or not, on your vehicle .. Thicker based rust-proofers usually will not do this, thus prove to be ineffective .. As stated on the container,what it WILL NOT DO, is resist ABRASION !! Don't waste your time applying it to areas where sand, salt, or direct water spray is present .. Noxudol makes a product for such areas .. I was surprised to see that the product came supplied with 3 different forms of applicators ! A direct can spray-head, spray-head w/ short applicator tube, AND, a nearly 24 inch long, triple-angle, high-volume spray-tube, for use in enclosed body panels .. All three worked VERY effectively in my experience .. Plan on some minor odor from the product, which dissipates as it dries / solidifies .. Also, plan on drips .. Blacktop and concrete garage floors should be covered before applying .. I'm guessing it isn't " grass friendly " either ! You should also be aware of location temperature at application time .. Generally 60 degrees, or above is recommended .. Don't get it on clothing you value ...... though, in my experience full-strength Simple Green cleaner removes it .. Spring time will tell me how effective using this was, though so far I'M IMPRESSED by it's performance, and would recommend the product .. Might end up being " The Poor-Man's Car Saver ".. Time will tell ..

This product works great, three applicators to reach any concealed area and the stuff creeps and seeps into every small crack. If it works as advertised my truck will never rust. I will let you know after ten years of salt. Company has been very popular in Europe where they don't trade their cars every 2 years like the US. One can will get most of the problem areas, 2 cans will get every spot you can find.

I own a Citroen 2cv - a Deux Chevaux - a car notorious for rusting. Recently I had to tear out the entire floor and replace it due to spreading rust, so when I put it back together I made sure to buy rust-proofing products in bulk to help delay having to ever do that much work again.Noxudol is the best cavity wax that I have found out there. It is perfect for squeezing into those tiny spots where rust likes to start and spread and it holds rust at bay for a long, long time. If you are in the market for a rust-proofer that you can get into teeny tiny spots, this is the one.

Out here in the west we don't see many people using this product since they don't salt the roads in Cali. But you just spray this on any metal surface and you will get good protection. Don't get overspray on exhaust of catalysts.

I have used this to rust proof my vintage Jaguar after rust repairs. I intend to use it again when the same car comes back from paint next week.

I ordered this product for two reasons:1. I needed some cavity wax.2. It was supposed to come with spray wands.I even called Noxudol and asked about what extension wands came with the product. I was assured that a long wand suitable for spraying into auto cavities would be included. Guess what, it came with a 6" extension. This is worthless to me. Now I get to hunt down the appropriate tubing (just try) or purchase another product. To the person that received three extensions, must have been your lucky day.
