Helped my German Shepherd to go up stairs again.
The media could not be loaded. This has not only helped my GSD to go upstairs again, but also to get into the car. It feels wall made as well as the plush side feels soft so it's not coarse against the dog's skin. The straps are adjustable to all heights of dogs.

Easy and comfortable
Our 14 year old lab dislocated her knee and this was an absolute lifesaver. She was still able to walk on it, but had a really difficult time getting up. It was easy to slide under her belly and maneuver it to the position we needed. Not only was it great for helping her up, but it also helped to stabilize her and give her some support when she walked. I love the fact that there’s no complicated harness get around her legs/hips. The adjustable straps are great and easy to use. They also are great because you’re able to walk with the dog and not trip over yourself or them. The soft material on the inside makes it thick enough to make it comfortable for our old gal, it worked beautifully!

Great if you just need support for a dog
This works almost perfectly for my 43lb mini-labradoodle who has a big stomach because he is overweight. It is high quality material and feels very comfortable and sturdy. I say it works great if you only need to support a dog with walking. What it lacks is a hole or ability for a male dog to urinate as the support sits across that part of his body. My wife actually cut a hole out and it actually worked fine because the material is so solid so it was not fraying or ripping from the hole.

Great for post-surgery needs
This product worked well for me when the husband wasn't available to help take our 10yr old French Brittany Spaniel out for potty while recovering from surgery. I thought this would be perfect for me and it was; simple to slip under him and out we go. Ample padding; however it was in the way when he peed nearly every time but hey, a little soap and water, dried quickly and I even threw it in the wash as well and held up fine. This is the second time Jeb has had to have surgery on his hind legs (first at 6 months). We literally rebuilt his legs then due to the breeder over breeding that caused his legs to be severely bowed and more, causing him immense pain and acting out. This round, was TPLO and then some maintenance (scar tissue, etc.), so he was to be down and low key for weeks (just got clearance to be a dog again!). Again, I wished I had this available as it wasn't suggested, just use a towel. This product was so much better than a towel and at 49lbs it gave me a little more sense of stability/security holding him up as he tried to walk and recover. It was impossible for me to hold him up to show the product in use, so no picture but I included two others; the first was his ride home from surgery and the second showing his full recovery and looking good!

Invaluable
I use this harness every time my lab goes outside in the backyard. She has weaker knees being a senior dog and this helped a lot when she was really limping. I still use it now she's better to keep her from taking off and chasing squirrels to prevent injury.I have put it in the washer with towels and air dried it many times and it has held up great. Will never be without one.

Probably good
I was not sure how to rate it.The quality of the product itself seems to be great. However, my dog has a low chest and it arches up towards the belly and hips. With that, if my dog's chest and belly were flat or close to it - I think this product would be a better fit. Now, when I put it on, the product becomes more of a rope. My dog is not really showing any major signs of discomfort, but I dont see it as a good fit for my dog.Another thing I did not like were the handles. Even when made the shortest length it is too long and uncomfortable to hold. I had to improvise and I found a plastic handle that allows me to attach it to the harness (my handle is like a suitcase one). I pretty much never use the handle that is on the product. If a secondary, low profile handle was on the product originally - that would be such a big imrovement! To sum up - it seems good quality, it does its job, it does not seem it is hurting the dog, it is a temporary solution until my dog recovers - I am using it. However, knowing what I know today, I would not buy it again (for my god).

Can't get my dog upstairs without the harness
My 65 lb dog is 13.5 years old and very arthritic. It became a real challenge to get him up our steep stairs at night to go to bed. He would lay on the floor and wouldn't get up to go upstairs and we had to support him on the staircase. I tried leaving him downstairs asleep, but he always woke up and hobbled to the bottom of the stairs and tried a step or two, but couldn't make it. This harness has made it so much easier and now I just dangle it in front of him and he gets up on his own to go to bed. The harness takes the weight off his limbs as we lift from the handles. You can adjust the handle length and once I had the right length, I taped the two handles on one side together so they are always together when I reach for the harness (other side has velcro wrap for the two handles). The harness has put less stress on me trying to assist my dog and less stress on him as he gets an assist upstairs.
