PB 797-M and 797-0 Fluorescent Ink Cartridge replacement for all Mailstation Postage Meters from AMERICAN MAILING SOLUTIONS INC.

I had a printing problem with my MailStation 2, so I thought I would try new ink. I installed the new ink cartridge and let the machine run through it's preparation cycle. Once complete, I ran the test pattern and my print quality was not any better. I called Pitney Bowes for support. They had me run through cleaning the print nozzle again. Didn't work. They asked me to remove the ink, then the print head; however, when I removed the ink cartridge, a small stream of ink flowed out. This has never happened with any other cartridge I have purchased. If you have any experience with ink for this machine, you can understand the level of frustration this brought out of me. It's bad enough if you accidentally touch the bottom of the cartridge, but to have ink flow out into your meter, on your meter, and onto your desk is incredibly frustrating.UPDATE: After contacting the company, who responded almost immediately, and by phone, I decided to give them a second chance. They sent me you return label to send my defective cartridge back and sent me a new cartridge to try. When I installed the new cartridge, it worked exactly as it should AND prints more vibrantly than other generic cartridges I have used. Sometimes bad things happen to good people. I will definitely buy from this seller again.

Just trying to save $70 on ink for my Pitney Bowes Mail Station 2 but this cartridge didn't work at all and it has been more than 30 days since my purchase so I can't return it. Back to purchasing from PB.

These work as well as the PB ink at a fraction of the price. I couldn't see any difference between this ink and the PB ink other than price.

The cartridge does not work like the cartridge from Pitney Bowes. There is no warning that the ink is running low. It will print the last envelope fine and then the next one there is no ink. This is the second cartridge I have tried and both had the same result.

Seems to work great I do have a question does it warn you when you are almost out of ink? I know my Pitney Bowes shows when ink is running low? Just curious. thank you so much!!

The product did not work in my machine. I have called to get some assistance and they determined they would send a replacement cartridge. Hopefully that will work but in the mean time we have mail building up! Not happy!
