Excellent product implemented with DD-WRT. Good speed and reliability with Google Fi data SIM.
We used this to downscale a business network. They get the same speed as with their previous fixed internet service. We left the original router in place and just plugged into the WAN port of the Yeacomm. This made the changeover transparent. We have used a Google FI SIM for the test and plan to switch over to T-Mobile next week and eliminate the fixed Internet service. The initial setup issue was to get connected to the router DD-WRT server. Yeacomm's tech helped with that via their tech support email, and the rest was just like normal DD-WRT.Great device. We get very good 4G speeds which are usually faster than our measured fixed Internet speed. This is all more than adequate for video and voice. We will be getting more of these.

Easy Setup, Bug Free
Used this hotspot out at a gate for a wireless intercom and video. The system set up easily with the insertion of a SIM card with minimal WAN configuration. I have been using this on a solar/battery system without issue, so the current draw must be reasonable.Tech support is responsive. They don't post firmware updates so you will need to ask for those files. This product is a good value.

Need knowledge about router configuration to use
Works great but really hard to configure and there is no information on the net on how to configure it with the sim cards for this particular device. I finally figured it out playing with it but completely by accident. You need to know alot about configuring routers

Grabs proper signal bands in a low 4g area. Easy setup
Replaced a Netgear broadband router with this. Signals in my area are poor using this behind a 4g booster kit. The Netgear kept using signal lower signal bands even when they were not the strongest researched alternatives and licked this up. Grabbed the right signal bands right out of the box as it should. Works great no issues setup was very simple. Instructions are important as some settings you need to basically know from them. I used it with googlefi service. I do not use the WiFi as I am talking this as a third connection into a pfsense box as a backup connection for work. Have not had a chance to try another secondary sim but I don't get any other cell service here to anyways. This is a very solid built device that fits great in my rack and 5 star for sure would use again in the future

Good Wifi, very weak Cell Receiption
Good:- Strong build metal case- Wifi Signal- extreme amount of settings inside the router interfaceBad:- very weak cell signal -> it's basically impossible to get 5 bars. Every cell phone i put at the same spot has 5 bars instantly, this device with this extra external antenna! does only 3! bars. The purpose was to have modem outside to get better signal. Not with this device ....- when you change a setting , LTE Band, 3G -> 4G, etc., the internal modem reboots and takes 1 minute! to get a signal again. A modern cellphone does this in 4 seconds- External antenna cable too short and feels like doesn't improve signal at allConclusion:For this extreme price, a dissapointment

A workhorse cellular modem
Ive been using this modem for about 4 months as a primary internet source in my RV where I reside full time. I'm very happy with the value this modem provides for the price. I use it in conjunction with my cellular booster and find the combination is very effective at providing me with mobile connectivity. I will say that other reviews are correct in that it has two major short falls:1. The failover protection is limited in scope to the cellular networks. So for example, if I have a wifi connection that fails it will not switch to the cellular connection without personal intervention.2. The web interface to the software is extremely poorly written and documented. For example, there have clearly been more revisions to expand what functionality is available, but they are not called out in the documented and connected websites. So far the cellular modem has been used with google-fi on the T-mobile GSM network, and with another SIM card also from T-Mobile. I'm happy to say that i have been able to play video games, and have conference calls with work, sometimes simultaneously. Obviously a lot depends on your connectivity.

Great router
I build solar security camera trailers and needed a good router. I was just starting and didnt have 900 for a cradlepoint. The reviews on here looked ok so i bought one.I couldnt be happier. Only issues is cavke length for antenna. Amy adapter i get causes issues. As far a a laptoo ot runs just great but i send 1tb a day threw a cctv system on it and was very happy. Obviously it will not be lightning fast, but cameras show within 7 seconds via mobile app and around 5-8 on desktop. Keep in mind i have a 8 channel with 6 2021 IP cameras that have motor control, audio, starlight 2 way audio and @5mp per camera 24/7 recording have no issues. So happy i gave them a try

You better have a strong Data signal if you want to use this thing.
Works great when in an area with several bars of signal. I set it up at my house and was very pleased. Strong Wi-Fi broadcast signal with quick internet response times.Unfortunately for me, I purchased it for use at a remote cabin. I have one bar (ATT) on phones and can hotspot fine, but this wireless modem won't work at all. It has no signal strength meter. Only a "go-no go" idiot light on the front panel. I wanted something so I could free up the phones for folks to have Wi-Fi. I could not be more disappointed with the YF325 wireless modem. It's too late for a refund so I'll just put this piece of junk on Ebay and see what happens.
