sunjoy 10' x 10' Grove Patio Canopy Gazebo

Couldn’t be more disappointed in the quality of this canopy. I purchased this as a replacement for a similar Sunjoy canopy that I purchased from target about 8 years ago. Sadly, this is not the same canopy. Although the description and photo would lead one to believe it’s the same. The biggest difference is that the materials used to make this canopy are literal 1/2 the size of the previous one I had. Instead of 3” diameter bamboo-esque corner posts, this one comes with 1-1/2” diameter bamboo corner posts. The overhead spans between the posts are also made from tube stream that is thinner and smaller diameter than the previous version. And lastly, if you plan to use curtains or netting. You need to know that you won’t be able to open them all the way. The previous one I had, offered a curtain rod welded to the span and ran the full length. This one uses two separate rods with a break in the middle that bolt to the span. I see why the seller only provided one photo. If there were more photos showing these details, I doubt anyone would buy it.

I do love the gazebo itself! Unfortunately the topping collects rain on the edges. After the first rain, one of the flaps that holds the bar ripped so that part of the canopy doesn't stay fully extended. Every time it rains I have to push the water out by lifting each side of the canopy up with a broom stick. The canopy also sags where the rain has collected with makes it even more prone to gathering water.

Worst purchase. If you live where it rains.....Don't buy this. Once it starts collecting rain on the edge and sagging, it stretches out the thin material and will always sag. I took off the mosquito net bars ,because they speed up the rain collecting process, and i zip tied them across the grommet holes. This might help, but im not happy that i have to do it. I should have taken advice from the other people that said this too. DONT BUY THIS.

This is the 4th canopy we have purchased and I am always amazed at how strong these are. It survives many bad rain storms, thunderstorms, wind, etc. We get the direct sun, so we normally replace the canopy every year as it does fade. However, it is not torn and does not show significant wear. We choose to replace it so it looks fresh. We have been very pleased.

The canopy on this gazebo is not made very well. Had it for 1 year and from weather and rain it got ripped up, and I've been trying to replace the canopy and I can not find the replacement. I called mrpearl11 he was no help and neither was amazon! I'm not very happy with this item and customer service is not good at all.

Went together real easy, followed the directions and we got to the canopy and what a flimsy not well seamed piece of cheap fabric. First rain and it bellied in one section and stretched out now it fills with rain water all the time. I'm almost ready to buy the replacement canopy because it is better quality.

The gazebo itself is just what I was looking for. It was missing quite a few screws. Very hard to deal with manufacturer . They told me the missing screws are discontinued and they'll send me universal ones . I would've returned it if I would've known its missing before assembling. As of now I'm still waiting for replacement screws...I'm giving them a couple more weeks. Then I'll be forced to disassemble and return it. It won't hold for too long without the screws

Great gazebo!! Would definitely recommend it! We put it on our deck and screwed it down....works like a charm, and feel it's study enough for basic weather/storms! Looks great too!
