New owner. Quality looks and feels fantastic.
This is the first pair of High Quality Leather boots I've ever owned. I am very pleased with how they look and feel in person. I have flat & very wide feet and wear a Mens Size 12 for some shoes and a size 13 for others. I decided to buy the size 13-wide version of the Irish Setter 882 Elk Tracker Waterproof 600 gram insulated boot. So far, i'm very pleased with how they fit. My feet stay put inside. I have zero issues with sliding to the front of the boot and hitting my toes. The Wide version of this boot is slightly snug on the sides. But i'm sure once the leather breaks-in they will fit perfect. The heel support is great. My heels do not slide around at all. They feel custom made for my feet. The foot bed is very comfortable. The stitching is high quality. Most seams are triple stitched. They do weigh a bit more than I'm used too. But that's fine; because well-made things weigh more...I got these in the mail today and I've been wearing them around the house to help break them in. I am wearing regular thin socks because my wool socks would be too thick to fit inside comfortably. In all seriousness these things are so dang warm inside the house that i believe i won't need wool socks outside this winter. At room temperature they are very warm, not hot, and my feet are dry, not sweaty. These breathe way better than I expected. I can't wait to work in these this winter!

What a great find!
Finding shoes that fit me (size 12.5/13, AA width with a AAAA heel) is difficult; finding boots like this is just past (usually) impossible. So when I saw the size of these boots (13B) I double checked...and checked one more time. Couldn't wait to order them...going on a wilderness canoe and camping trip and my old boots (12 very wiiiiide) had to be replaced. When these boots arrived, I double checked the size again...sure 'nough, 13B...that is, 13 narrow...or at least not 13 double wide. When I put them on, they fit! Have to wear a pair of heavy socks, but I would do that anyway. I've been breaking in these boots the past couple of weeks by wearing them to work in the yard, mow the grass, anything to walk a lot. Thus far, they have required no breaking in...they're supple with what seems to be a padded interior...whatever it is, it's comfortable. The lacing system works well and it's quick. I'll find out about the waterproof promise soon, but I've never had a problem with Goretex -- another reason I bought these boots. Workmanship seems to be exceptional; label says they're made in China. And buying them at about a 30% discount was an added bonus.

Oustanding boot for the serious outdoorsman!
I ordered these boot for my high-country scouting, hunting, and trekking trips throughout Northern and Central Utah. The pair fit as expected and have taken little or no time to "break-in" during this scouting and shed-hunting season. As stated in the description the boots are completely waterproof and I have even submerged them completely for hours during a recent fishing trip with no issues. The 600 level insulation is a perfect mid-level mountain boot, meaning they are great in the snow as well as the high-country heat. I fully recommend this boot to any serious outdoors-man/woman who is looking for tough, durable, and comfortable addition to their mountain arsenal.

Excellent construction, warm, comfortable boot with narrow toe box.
Ordered size 12D Mens as I am an exact 12D. Toe box too narrow with no side to side wiggle room. Toes feel compressed together. Excellent warm boot with quality construction. Feel broken in immediately. Weigh heavy 5.4 lbs in 12D but feel light on the feet due to cork construction rebound when you walk. Exchanged for 12 EE wide width and awaiting new wider pair.Received 12EE and now there is ample room in the toe box to wiggle my toes. Excellent value. I purchased these as everyday work boots in winter. Also own many high end boots such as Lowa, Kenetrek, Zamberlan and these are almost as comfortable at a fraction of the price! (Got them for only $90 with the Amazon sale price plus some of my AMEX points)Only improvements I suggest is slightly longer laces and relief gusset and lace hole setback notch in leather at each side fifth lace hole from bottom similar to mountain boots - where boots bend when walking . Without the relief gusset, leather tends to buckle here.Boots have nice extra touches included such as pull strap loop and heel nub for easier removal.

Nice Boot.
Nice boot.I only had a couple of weeks to test them during wisconsin's deer rifle season but was happy with the boot overall. They felt very comfortable without any break in which I'm sure will get better with time. The construction of the boot is very good, the speed lace lugs are heavy duty and I'm sure will last.If you plan on wearing heavy socks you may want to get a 1/2 size bigger than what you normally wear. I wear a size 11 and purchased the same, with medium weight socks they fit a little snug at first but the boot seemed to "relax" after walking a bit so I was happy with the fit.I wore them on my deer stand and sat in 15-20 degree weather and my feet stayed warm for a few hours and then started to get cold. Once it warmed up to 25-30 degrees I had no problems.Walking in the woods through snow, mud, and icey conditions they were very comfortable and the support and traction was outstanding.I would give these five stars but have not owned them long enough.

Excellent hunting boot!
What an amazing boot.I dunno where the negative reviews are coming from but I got this ina 14 wide and it fits just the way it should… maaaaybe a bit on the big side. But throw on some darn tough over the calf wool socks… and I’ve never been more comfortable. There was no break in period. I just brought them with me for an elk hunt around castle mountain in Alberta and put them on and got the trail.Heel locks in place , so warm, I could not ask for anything more perfect.Went up a couple hills and down , in the rain, mud, crossing creeks, no water got in and my feet warm and dry. Support is perfect at 12” high it’s a tall boot but no issues fitting with the rest of my gear. The OLNY negative is the boots ship with laces that are no where near long enough.I don’t know who though these would work… but lol.Common. Buy a set of good long laces or you will have to miss lacing up a good 4” from the top.

Beautifully comfortable
These boots are the best I have ever worn. They are comfortable from day one. They are 100% waterproof and they are warm. Sure they might be a little higher price than others but you get what you pay for.

the most expensive boots ive ever bought...
totally worth every penny! made by redwing which is a work boot ive had in the past these are by far the most comfortable boots ive ever had...600 gram insulation seems to be ideal for below freezing walking or sitting in a stand at above 0 degrees. buy them if you need a comfortable boot for long walks in cold weather!

Worth the money.
I had looked at these boots for a year before I purchased them. I used them hunting the past two weeks and I am totally pleased. They seemed slightly big at first, but I removed the sole to check my size and it is correct. They're comfortable, warm and great for hiking in the woods.
