It was pretty much the exact same as the original power cord that I had broken, and for a good priceI received it very quickly and got my wifi back up and runningI would recommend as there is nothing wrong with it, it works as it should and for cheap

Works great, only reason I had to purchase this is because my router had failed all of a sudden or at least I thought.The symptom was that the blue LED would blink on the original and not be solid; so this new adapter saved me from buying a new router and it comes with extra long cord, if that matters to anyone.Router is the RT-N66

Was not as described. Did not fit my router. Seems to be made well, but that does not matter when you cannot use it.

Fits great, and works well with the RT-N66U. A bit bigger than I would like (original was a simple wall-wart), but the price was great.

I had bought my daughter an ASUS R-66U router from Asus. I plugged the power adapter into the wall and configured the router just fine. I went to pull the plug out and only one of the prongs came out, the other stuck in the wall. It had pulled right out of the adapter. I had the router for only 2 days, so I called Newegg to see about getting a replacement, they wouldn't even talk to me and kept saying "but it's damaged" even when I brought up it should have some sort of warranty on it. They sent me over to Asus's warranty department where I talked to Papu the rep who told me that the item was considered an accessory and not covered under their warranty. I could buy a new one though through ASUS's site. The power adapter had to be a genuine ASUS adapter to not void the product warranty. Fast forward to a few days ago.I purchased this power adapter because it's design is MUCH better than a 3" adapter sticking straight out of the wall. The voltage and amperage on this adapter is exactly what the router needs.

They said they'd send me a free one for an unbiased review, so here goes: this AC adapter only does one thing, but does it well. It provides sufficient power to my router. So far it hasn't started powering any other devices in my house, so 5 stars.

Finally fixed the drop-out problem on my router by putting in this unit to replace the factory version (which was under-powered). Perfect fit and great performance. It also reduced the RFI emanated by the router without having to add anything.

Our rabbits chewed through the (impossible to find, even through Asus) power adapter for our Asus AC1750/RT66U. Based on the product description (it explicitly states that it will work for the specific router) I purchased this AC adapter.Unless they sent me the wrong product, this adapter WILL NOT WORK if you have an AC1750/AC RT66U. When I plugged it in, it fell straight out of the router. The plug is not the correct size for the router (it is both shorter and narrower, see pictures).This is false advertising, plain and simple.
