I purchased this text and feel like I have been duped. I began going through the text and immediately realized that something was off. I have been a professional editor for over 5 years editing engineering/comp. sci/physics texts mainly authored by Chinese and Indian authors. The grammar makes it clear that the author does not speak English natively and did not procure an editor before publication. Given how bad it was, I couldn't believe that no one had dinged the text on sheer poor grammar.It doesn't stop there, though! When going through the text, the code presentation is found to be terrible! This is immediately apparent when you hit the MySQL introduction. The code snippets show you how to INSERT, DELETE, etc... except the author is using a function to establish the database connection that he never presents! You have no idea how to actually connect to the database!At this point, I was suspicious. I decided to look at the other reviews. Fake reviews! Clearly fake reviews! All the reviews were posted shortly after the books were released on Amazon, and they all have similar grammatical mistakes. Obviously anglo reviewers have a number of book reviews full of grammatical garbage you don't see outside of Chinese/Indian authors who don't know English natively. I'm reporting this text and reviewers to Amazon.

I can sum up the value of this book with a quote from page 12: "To declare a variable is not something hard to do because it's very easy." The rest of the book makes that statement look almost intelligent. In addition, there is no index or reference section to assist you. I would recommend it for fire-starting material, and little else.

I don't ever return books, but this book was soooo bad that I would not have forgiven myself if I didn't return it. It is absolute crap and complete waste of time. Both in content and print quality, this is a book no one should spend a penny and a second on. What a pity!

Creator worked admirably. I'll most likely prescribe this book to my loved ones. Cheerful perusing!! I would must prescribed for this book.
