On a student budget and loving it!
As a film student one learns about all of the equipment it takes to make a high-quality production and unless one is born silver spoon in mouth, one also learns that they cannot afford all of that fabulous equipment. However thanks to the Internet we now have the long tail market which provides us less fortunate artists with a niche market of affordable knock off products. Is it a Rokanon Cine series prime lens? No it’s not but for the price it’s as close as you’re going to get.It has a good solid metal body. The focus is nice and smooth and all of the F stops are precisely marked. Most importantly it gives me the ability to capture the image that I’m seeking and quite frankly no one except me knows the difference. So if you’re trying to shoot out a budget and make it work anyway you can then yes I would highly recommend this lens.

solid lens ,excellent for the price..
I purchased this lens for use on the bmpcc 4k. The lens is very solid and made of metal, the lens hood is plastic but very durable. I wanted something wider and better in low light than those standard plastic kit lenses & this does the job quite well. At the widest f2.8 aperture the image is very good, f4 and up is tack sharp from edge to edge.I have only used the lens for video,so I can't speak for photography use. For the price paid and build quality, I can recommend this lens without hesitation & will look for more voking lenses in the future.

Value!! Value!! Value!!! Such a good value for MFT
Killer value for the money! At 24mm equivalent and $160... It's perfect! No it isn't the sharpest! However at F4 it's good to go.
