Intriguing Owls: Exceptional Images and Insight (Wildlife Appreciation) Paperback – June 5, 2009

The photos and narrative are excellent. However, I was going to give it as a gift but it was not packaged securely with my other book purchase and arrived damaged. Front cover is dented thru to the white paper backing, back cover near binding is torn. Also, something must have been on the printer because every few pages has a black mark smudge on the white background of the photos. Definitely not gift quality. Don't want to spend the money to exchange it. I think it must have gotten caught in the post office machine.

This owl book is great. I I have several of Stan's books, and they are all good. Have almost worn the books out I reference them so many times. This one is for my niece, that is almost nine years old and is fascinated with birds, but especially the owls.

i ordered this for my daughter's birthday - it's a beautiful book. she loves owls and loved the book. nice quality paperback, great fotos.

Like every Stan Tekiela book I've read, this is informative without being hopelessly pedantic. Good, solid information has never been so accessible.

The pictures are beautiful and the text well written

This is a wonderful book to treasure forever. The images are spectacular and I only wish that they were larger.Fascinating.

like all the other books by stan, this one is high standard and very interesting. taking pictures of owls is not easy and there is a lot of wonderful images.
