Decent, cheap set
I have been using this tuning set for over a year now, and it's still going strong. The tuning wrench works great, and I love the wedge dampers. I tune my own piano just for practice and have not had any problems with this set.

Tuning hammer handle is short
The handle is short, which makes it hard to fine tune the higher notes of the piano. I tuned my upright piano with it. I had to put a pipe on the end of the tuning hammer to extend it to about 3 feet, giving me more leverage to fine tune with more accuracy. All in all, it got the job done without costing a fortune. The other mute wedges came in super handy to tune the piano correctly.

Nice kit for hobbyists!
Great value, especially for a novice looking to experiment with tuning. Tools aren’t the best made, but they are more than adequate to get the job done. And the price is amazing!

Junky and not worth it
The hammer is just junk aluminum and is made too large. The opening is too large for anyone's piano, it is obviously cheaply made and this product listing is terribly misleading. It barely finished the job due to wearing out COMPLETELY, and to ad a little pain to the quality of the hammer, the rubbers and felt are so THICK I had to cut them up and thin them down to use them. It absolutely is not worth the money, was a headache the entire time using it..... spend a little more money for a better one.

wrench strips easily
First time tuning my piano. The muting wedges work fine enough but I was down to my last few keys when this wrench stripped and it just spun on the peg. I think it was made out of a softer metal so just doesn't seem to hold up. I wanted it to last at least a few tunings.

Great Inexpensive Kit!
I had no trouble tuning my piano for the first time. The wrench is 6.3". It would be easier to use if the wrench were longer, but the specs are clearly listed. If you need a longer wrench, then pay more and order a longer wrench. If you are fairly strong, then this wrench shouldn't be a problem. If you have problems with this kit and want to go cheap then slip a 10"-12" long piece of PVC over the handle. That should give you more leverage, Most of my pins were no problem. DIY tuning is pretty simple, I found a few slight rattles in my strings. I pushed the strings downward to seat them properly on the bridge. This, along with exact tuning made my piano sound better than ever. It's time consuming to get them exactly right. I don't think most pros would have taken the time to get them all so close to perfect. I'm very happy with the kit!

I was able to tune my piano!
Great value for the money, I had to use a pipe to extend the lever of the tuning wrench so I could have greater control over the fine adjustments. I don't think I would have been able to tune all 88 keys without the makeshift extended handle.

Get this, but get a different wrench!
Get this- but-- BUY A DIFFERENT WRENCH! The rest of this was great. I bought this kit because it was the cheapest one with mutes. I used the felt a bit, but the mutes-- especially the long ones with handles, were super necessary for tuning high notes of a spinet with not a lot of space for jamming them in. Buy a different wrench or you will regret ever thinking you could tune your whole piano for less than $10 (or whatever this was)-- if you're getting this to touch up 1-5 notes on your piano, then fine, but otherwise just get the long wrench! The tuning hammer / wrench was useless.
Was entirely unable to use this. The felt and the rubber dampers were okay, but unless you're lucky to get a good one, you'll probably need to buy a different hammer / wrench.Junk metal filling the socket means the wrench can't settle home over the pins.
