Very good guide with clear concepts. I was looking for an introduction to business and found it in this book. I'm not related to the business world but found this book really approachable and ease to understand.

For not knowing much about starting / running a business this book provides plenty ofknowledge for people at different levels.

I am wanting to start importing custom designed musical instruments. I already have a registered TM. This book will be continually used as a reference for what I need to do to thrive. I hate eBay. I always end up in a cursing war with unsatisfied customers.

There are a few pages per subject and then, whiplash! -- we're on to the next. The author barely has time to trot out the platitudes we already know: in the beginning, the company is all yours and you're on your own, so you've got to be dedicated! -- and there's hardly room left to squeeze in anything more substantive. This is not what I believed was on offer, and not what I want to spend my precious time reading. Returned.

this is a really good and easy book to read if you're going into business or thinking about it or even going to school for it

I found this book answered a lot of the questions I had. I do not operate a small business but when I do decide to take that leap I feel the information I gained in here will definitely help.

If I was nor required to buy this book I wold no have,It is based mostly on US companies and is really no help to anyone who is looking to start a business. That is, its far from a "How to" book.The other thing is, there is nothing about the author anywhere including the book, and there is no revision date, pubisher, or date of publication
