Description

This 1980 iteration of the classic anime ASTRO BOY is in full, glorious color and finds the charm of the original series intact. This series is a variation on the story of the original and begins as Doctor Tenna has created Astro to look like the son he lost in an accident. Soon, Astro Boy becomes a famous hero despite Dr. Tenna's efforts to keep him a secret. It isn't long before Dr. Tenna becomes dissatisfied with his creation and sells Astro Boy to a robot circus. There, a kindly professor takes Astro Boy under his wing and creates a robot family for him while teaching him to fight for justice and peace. Contains episodes 28-33.
